Casual Decor, Card Table, 1969
Nobody showed up to her swinging 60s strip poker game because of the last time, now forever know as the "great butts sticking to plastic seats skin graft disaster."
Spent an extraordinary time working on the ui for my procedurally generated shooter. As there is no data, there's no bitmaps, so it all has to be drawn procedurally, which was kind of a pain!
To my 70s house designer: "I need a wall, but this wall must specifically fail at every attribute of a wall."
Always reblog WWbN!
Another estate sale find: A what seems to be never used Marshall practice amp. I play through software emulation, so it's kind of weird to play with *only* gain - not even reverb. It's a great little amp, with a big tone, I'm pretty impressed. What is not impressive is the completely unflattering angle I took this video at!
When I post estate sale finds, I'm usually snarky but I absolutely adore these people, I love when you see a house where people collected the things that make them happy, as stunning as it might be to me. The Stuffed Zoo was amazing, but the Room of Fine Lady Butt Art was extraordinary.
Today's estate sale find I rescued this good boy: Chap The Obedient Dog! 1950s, Japanese robotic dog. Don't have the batteries to test (yet) but I suspect it's seized, but he's still a very, very good boy that deserves to live in my toy collection.
In my procedurally generated game, I added some styles to the materials, so you can have completely random, more castle like, more sci-fi like, or a high color version. Hoping for late summer / early fall release!
Visited Terror Manor for a behinds the scenes look. I had a lot of annoying questions about animatronic health and how to apply foam. Incredibly fun, these folks run a really great haunt.
Throughout my life, many people have called me a pathetic loser with no friends, but this is the first time an algorithm on my phone has made that assessment!
Well the world has become a degree more dismal today but I did find a spooky tree in the woods. It's not helping.
First estate sale of the year, and let me say this place had some interesting wall paper. Flocked wall paper. Flock gold wall paper. Flocked gold large cat wall paper.
I watched a clip from the Donny and Marie show. For this, I do not apologize. For the valentine I made from that clip, I do apologize.
Today's estate sale has cake pans that completely cover my two current life situations!
It's been a month since I've gone to an estate sale and I'm way behind on Soviet Life! Are those hats still in? Do I need to bring flowers? I have no idea anymore!
The only version of Little Drummer Boy I want to hear is called "Moby Dick."
Merry Christmas!
