Askatla set down her stuff next to the door and headed for her liquor cabinet. Pulling out a bottle of Canadian whiskey, the girl began to pour two drinks. Her mind going back to who she was with, Askatla felt a pang of envy over the daylighter “Can you explain to me how sunshine feels?” The girl got a bit quieter and turned around, handing him his drink,“I forgot a long time ago.”
Simon sat on the edge of her bed, quietly looking around the room. It was much like most of the other rooms in the Institute, though he noticed that the curtains remained closed. He took the drink, shuffling awkwardly at her question, “It’s...” he paused, trying to compose his thoughts on the matter, “Well, it feels almost like a kiss on your skin. You know, a warming kiss that just blossoms and spreads with heat,” He spoke with a quiet tone, similar to hers. He took a sip of the whiskey, “Sorry.. it’s much more difficult to explain than I thought it would be..”
