Jhason From Accounting: If you were a size bigger, I'd ask to borrow that sweater for an Ugly Sweater Party.
Your Blouse Needs Irony: ...
JFA: I'm not saying that sweater's ugly. I'm just saying... I could do a lot with that sweater.

Just in time for Shark Week, behold the Sharkini.
(Laughing Squid)
Only allowable swimsuit from now on.
Swim every summer like it's shark week.
The Black 01
I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED
When can we start wearing these?!
Recently finished reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (related to S. Morgenstern? Who knows?!) This is a black and white circus that opens at nightfall. The tents, the costumes, the decor is all black, white, and grey. I was so disappointed that it was fiction and that I won't randomly see the tents of Le Cirque des Rêves. ANYWAY.
I came across this DIY refashion by Cotton and Curls and did it on a whim. Old heels, masking tape, acrylic paint and a sponge. So quick and easy, I did this while watching an episode of Parks and Rec on Netflix.
25 WAYS TO WEAR A SCARF. Sure it's springtime, but you can rock your neckessories all year long. Switch to a light fabric, and take a page from Wendy's book to find a way to wear it.
You look like Lucille Ball today
Coworker to me (I'm wearing a polka dot silk head scarf)
Like Mother, Like Daughter
Me: Whenever I carry a purse from you or wear shoes you gave me, I always get a ton of compliments. Every time. Even if people have seen it before. So, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for being such a fashion icon. Love you!
Mom: It’s so nice to hear that. Does mean I have to go shopping for you????
You look like a superhero today.
Boyfriend
I don't have anything to wear!
Define "special occasion"
Me: I'm sorting through my clothes and I made a Donate Pile!
Boyfriend: That's good.
Me: I have a bunch of shirts I should really get rid of, but they're my "special occasion" shirts.
Boyfriend: We can go out to dinner or something so that you can wear them.
Me: Oh, I mean there would only be one occasion when I'd wear it. Like, if we went to a heavy metal concert, I could wear this shirt with a robot on it that says, "I heart heavy metal."
Need to pump some life into your boring ponytail? CLICK HERE for some tips from the Hair and Fashion experts at lady magazine Redbook.
But remember: You still can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week.

Balenciaga Spring 2012.
Throwback Thursday - Remember back in middle school when all the cool guys wore visors? Remember when it was cooler if you wore them backwards? Or upside down?
You look really nice today. Like a sexy pirate.
Throwback Thursday - Remember when you would get a fake tattoo necklace (or bracelet, anklet, armband, eyepatch, etc.) because it was cheaper and even more temporary than the sweet tribal henna tattoo that you got on spring break (that your dad later RUINED because he had to prove to himself that it was fake by licking his thumb and wiping his spit on your arm until it rubbed off)?
Ohmigod. It's not pronounced PEE-plum?
Click the link above to see how the fashion industry is trying to kill us from the inside out! Some of those trendy dangers include
Skinny jeans (sorry, dudes)
high heels, flats, AND boots with the fur (with the fur)
Control top undies and stockings (is that why I can't feel my legs?)
Be brave, my friends. And remember: Beauty knows no pain.
