Another sad thing is the fact that the translator(s?) of LITA actually turned ‘เปิ้ล’ into ‘Ple’.

Yk, ‘Ple’ comes from the word แอปเปิ้ล, which means apple. They just shortened the word from ‘Appun’ to ‘Pun’. Apparently we’re translating names now too. So ‘เปิ้ล’ becomes ‘Ple’ instead of ‘Pun’. Sad sad.

The way it took me SO long to realise too😭 I kept wondering why the subtitles said ‘Ple’ while they clearly said ‘Pun’. But yk, apple, ‘appun’. Smh.

Guys. His name is Phayu (พายุ). It is spelled with a H if you write it in English. If you don’t write that H, you’re misspelling and definitely mispronouncing his name (and hurting my eyes).

The พ is called พ พาน (pho phan) and lemme tell you something. We always spell that H, especially with names. Your ‘P’ will probably become a พ (so, a ‘ph’) in our language. A ‘P’ doesn’t exist in our language if you’re spelling it with พ guuuuys😭😭😭😭😭 Stop spelling it with only a ‘P’ 😭

A little edit bc I have 0 brains n I’m not awake n should probably only post when I am able to think. พ is used for ph, but a p does exist. This one’s ป, this boi right here. Commonly used, to give you an example for the word fish ปลา.
