Too many people want a God that saves them, but doesn’t change them. They want to be able do whatever they feel like doing on their way to Heaven.
The Gospel doesn’t work like that.

Too many people want a God that saves them, but doesn’t change them. They want to be able do whatever they feel like doing on their way to Heaven.
The Gospel doesn’t work like that.
“Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.”
Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Mark 10:20-21
know the grace of God
For as long as I can remember I have been touched by and stopped in my tracks by the grace of God. Hearing about His grace is one thing, but experiencing His grace is another. It is powerful.
Hare you experienced the grace of God in your life?
There are so many things I could share and stories I could pass along, but today I will let others explain the incredible truth of God’s amazing grace.
Hebrews 4:16 NLT
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
“Repentance was never yet produced in any man's heart apart from the grace of God. As soon may you expect the leopard to regret the blood with which its fangs are moistened,—as soon might you expect the lion of the wood to abjure his cruel tyranny over the feeble beasts of the plain, as expect the sinner to make any confession, or offer any repentance that shall be accepted of God, unless grace shall first renew the heart.” ― Charles H. Spurgeon
“Will God make a watch and leave out the spring? Will God infuse us with grace once, but not again? No, we're not abandoned. Though I may be a prodigal son, somehow God has chosen not to disown me. After distributing our portion of the inheritance and watching us squander it, God offers us still more.” ― Philip Yancey
God’s grace didn’t get us going then leave us to get by on our works. Grace didn’t just justify us in the past, it sustains us in the present and will deliver us in the future. — Randy Alcorn
Nothing whatever pertaining to godliness and real holiness can be accomplished without grace. — Augustine
God's mercy and grace give me hope - for myself, and for our world. — Billy Graham
The meaning of life. The wasted years of life. The poor choices of life. God answers the mess of life with one word: ‘grace.' — Max Lucado
Lots of great quotes from great people, but none of them surpass God Himself. Scripture is the best explanation.
Ephesians 2:7-9 NLT
So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
May we experience and help others experience and know the grace of God. Have a great Tuesday!
Hebrews 12:15 NLT
Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
God answers difficult questions
Where was God when this happened to me?: He was there—He sees everything (Prov. 15:3)
Didn't He care? Yes, He did and still does (Nah. 1:7; 1 Pet. 5:6, 7).
How could a loving God allow this to happen? God gave His creations freedom of choice. He did not make people like puppets (Deut. 30:15-20).
Does the Lord understand how I feel? Yes, more than anyone (Is. 53:3; Heb. 4:15).
Is recovery possible? With God all things are possible (Matt. 19:26). Yes, He wants to bring healing to you (Jer. 17:14).
How can I be healed? Trust God to be faithful to His Word (Ps. 18:25).
Where do I begin? God hears you— confess your hurt (Ps. 34:17, 18). Give your hurt to Him (1 Pet. 5:7). Forgive the one who has grieved you (Col. 3:13).
Isn't forgiveness difficult? Yes, but what God commands you to do, He will equip you to do (1 Thess. 5:24). Realize that God has forgiven you (Eph. 4:32). Recognize that forgiveness is not the same as reconciliation-the former is something you are called to do; the latter is something that requires the offender's repentance.
Then what do I do? Don't take revenge— God will deal with the violator (Rom. 12:19). Look ahead rather than being controlled by the past (Is. 43:18, 19). Look for the good that will come out of the bad (Rom. 8:28).
When will I heal? Healing of deep hurt takes time (Eccl. 3:3). It is a process of:
facing the harm (Ps. 51:6)
acknowledging your feelings (Eccl. 3:4-8)
applying God's truth from His Word (Ps. 107:20)
working with wise counselors and caring friends to deal with ongoing hurts

But if Not... - Daniel 3:13-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego show us how to trust in God. We believe what he is able to do, and expect that he will do certain things for us, but even if he does not, we continue to trust him
“My Chart Ruler is retrograde”
This will show issues concerning with connecting with your identity; even to the point of possibly causing extroverted struggles with behavior through the first house.
Retrograde makes the planet a mild malefic early in life (Life the sun is.) Early in life the identity can struggle because the planet needs awareness to reach it’s peak potential. It’s drained of it’s power early in birth, but it finds power as you live life and move forward yourself. One of the issues is there is no “timeline” when the realization of the retrograde planet comes….if it all even.
The Sun does not activate until 21 in a birth chart. I would feel a retrograde planet probably would come alive the same time…At some point in life you come to a road block and realize the retrograde planet is causing hardship. I think many people struggle to fully develop their identity when a chart ruler is retrograde.
If the planet is stopped then you have no direct link to what’s missing…that is unless you struggle in an area of life or someone teaches you the planet’s energy is missing…Now you hit a wall and got a wake up call….
People who do astrology can look at their chart and see “R” realize they need to learn about that planet….They need an education in it. When the chart ruler is retrograde one needs an education on how to maximize and connect with their basic identity. It’s not easy for someone who just lives a regular life unaware….
Names of God

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth…He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1–3)
Where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord —the Maker of the entire universe. The Psalmist reminded himself of two great truths: one is that God is a mighty Creator and can handle all the problems of life; the other is that God never sleeps.
“From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides You, who works for those who wait for Him” (Isaiah 64:4) And this God is working on your behalf. “The eyes of the Lord Jesus run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show His might on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
What a truth! What a reality! God is up all night and all day working for those who wait for Him.
1 Corinthians 10:31
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
— 1 John 4:18 (KJV)
today’s verse ✨
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Matthew 18:20 KJV
“Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21)
Temptations are very real and sometimes intense. Many succumb to them and fall into various sins. Therefore, we have to recognize them and deal with them, not in our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit and by His word. How? By offering our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, and by not being conformed to this world, but being transformed by the renewing of our minds with the word of God. When we do that, God helps us not only to overcome every temptation and but enables us to bear much fruit for Him.
