John 15:9 (NKJV) - “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

John 15:9 is one of the most beautiful verses in the Bible, because it is about Jesus’ love. Friend, Jesus loves you as much as His Father loves Him and He wants you to abide in His love. The word “abide” has several meanings, but one is to “stay in a place”. Jesus wants you to stay in His love. The Passion Translation puts it this way: “I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts.” Maybe you need to hear this today, so I’m saying it again. Friend, Jesus loves you like His Father loves Him. And God loves Jesus, very much. God is love. (1 John 4:8,16) So that is a lot of love. Jesus wants your heart to be nourished by His love, every minute of every day. Friend, may the love of Jesus always surround you and nourish you. 🙏

This is a quote from WandaVision. It is my first, maybe last time making a content out of a movie quote. Regardless, it resonated much with me, for the love that Jesus displayed for us and is loving us with now is a love with perseverance. Sometimes that is shown as grief that He has towards us. Likewise, sometimes, when we love others so much, it hurts, but we can’t and shouldn’t give up.
