one of the best things for me in adulthood was realising just how many other human beings are mentally ill, weird, stupid, embarassing. like truly truly we all say idiotic things and make mistakes and i dont have to punish myself and crawl into a hole and die over being imperfect. doctor will fix me they'll do a scan and find a terrible darkness seated in my stomach and be like "oh my god we're so sorry we were supposed to remove this at birth like everyone else, i don't know how this was missed, we're so sorry you've been living like this your whole life" and it'll fix my brain too and all clouds will part
