Emotional Diary

I gotta make a thing I’m calling my “emotional diary” for my interpersonal communications class. Basically, I keep a three-day record of my feelings. I write down things like what I’d call the emotion, why I was feeling it, who/what influenced it, and things like that...but I’m autistic 😅. I have a difficult time recognizing, expressing, and gathering my emotions as is. Nevertheless, this was a surprisingly fun yet infuriating experiment on myself due to my lack of emotional intelligence. It was much more interesting and challenging. I am still aware that I do feel emotions rather strongly tho. I hope I get a good grade 🤞. I am tired. I took off my glasses and forgot I can’t see without them.

Sad lil’ Kickflips & Frog Shaming

My wonderful boyfriend and I had been going to the same school since we were in fourth grade, and we’ve been together since my freshman year of high school. Now that I’ve started college, we suddenly aren’t together at school anymore. He has many worries in his head of what could happen at college while he’s not there with me. So today I filmed a little video of what a day at school is usually like for me.

The video depicts my day as getting ready, getting an iced cinnamon latte, going to art appreciation and doing some blind contour drawing, talking to my professor after class about dying of dehydration, sitting outside and looking at some pink hibiscus, watching a guy do a sad lil’ kickflip on his skateboard in the distance, eating lunch with a friend and getting shamed for being excited about frogs, talking to my friends about quiz scores in communications, making a new friend, taking a weird personality test and finding out I have no emotional intelligence, and finally going home.

It was very interesting to watch back and kinda funny, but I hope it brings my boyfriend a little peace of mind. Because he is my favorite part of everyday.❤️

New Friends

Hi! Almost got my computer hacked a second ago :) Whoops.

My biggest accomplishment at the moment is that I have made 4 friends in college. Might not sound amazing to you, but I have had severe social anxiety since I was 8 years old. So going off to a brand new place and talking to people, gaining new friendships after I haven’t had a new friend since seventh grade is WILD :D!! When I told my therapist this news, she almost cried. I was told that was a good thing so yay me?
