I've never been one for "imagine your favorite historical figure in a wacky modern scenario." People are products of their own place and time, and you really can't remove them from that context.

On the other hand, I do love to imagine what kind of silly clothing and hairstyles may have been inflicted on a historical person in childhood. Was he a child in the 1780-1790s, like your average Noomer? Maybe he was buttoned up in a little skeleton suit with a mullet and some very unfortunate short bangs!

Was he a man in the mid-19th century? Let's speculate on his 1820-1830s childhood, dressed up in gigot sleeves with a frilly collar and/or low neckline!
