The world can see America divided and the chaos in the streets. Barack we love you but it would’ve been equally presidential if you would’ve just walked on out while Donald got through that struggle speech trashing your career. The majority knows man, we know you did good. We see it. The majority sees Donald for who he is too. He ain’t slick. And it’s too bad the majority doesn’t count. In any event, a first family that I can relate to will be missed. Really though.

"When you teach at intercity schools lets talk about this" He went to one ma'am. HE WAS A STUDENT IN AN INTERCITY SCHOOL. Teachers may have to deal with deciding how to discipline the students, but these students may have to deal with violence, drugs, bullying, problems at home, etc everyday. Your job is to help these kids achieve more with themselves, to go places they never thought they could. Not judge them because they are apart of this "black lives matter" movement where voices want to be heard. Fuck you

6 years later and avatar (the james cameron movie) is still completely incomprehensible to me. like you’ve got the highest grossing film in recent history and no one actually enjoyed it beyond “eh. it was okay”

Avatar is such a weird anomaly.  It’s the highest grossing film EVER (not adjusting for inflation) by a huge margin and yet it left virtually no footprint on popular culture.  It had its 15 minutes of fame to the tune of $2.7 billion dollars worldwide, and within a few years it’s like no one remembers it even existed.  You only ever really see it mentioned these days in the context of its record-breaking box office.

Probably because it was one of the first movies to truly utilize the new and improved 3D and IMAX in theaters. When everyone saw it they all recommended it to anyone who asked because it "looked amazing". The plot was eh, but the movie looked gorgeous. Just sad because I couldn't tell you anything about that movie I barely remember the plot and characters lol
