sungkyung was just minding her own business when she heard a voice. “oh!” quickly, she moved to help with the box, grunting a little at the fact that it was a little heavier than she thought it would be. then again, she probably should have assumed as much. “yeah, no problem.” she nodded her head as she began to move up the stairs. “just taking it up there, right?” she asked, tilting her head in the direction in which she planned to walk. the last thing she wanted to do was start walking in the wrong direction.

shiah feels like her legs and the rest of her entire body is about to give in when finally she’s saved, lips stretching into a smile. “thank you so much!” although she’s not incredibly famous right now, with a lot of people watching her drama at the moment her manager made her promise to be extra, super careful. which of course meant not much to her. ignorance is bliss, after all. still, she wore a face mask to compensate. “yeah yeah, up there.” taking the lead and walking backwards, she made way for the stairs and carefully stepped up. “are you sure this is okay?”

“you think you could help me with this?” she peeks over the top of the box in her arms, expectant. shiah’s arms are tiny, because she looks good this way, but if she could she would handle this all on her own. she flashes a rehearsed grin to make up for it. “i’m so sorry. the ladies here are moving their store upstairs and i’m scared to go up the stairs without dropping everything.” her generosity only stretches so far. shiah should’ve just kept walking when she saw the old women struggling.

not typically the sincerely affectionate type, shiah finds herself essentially adopting this person and wanting to look after them at all times. they probably think she's cool. they probably haven't seen her angry yet.

this person is a fan of shiah and is always gushing about how cute she is. whilst shiah tries her best to maintain her image around them, the constant 'you'd look so good in this cute dress' and 'i love it when you do aegyo' is gonna tick her off eventually.

shiah needs a bud she can go drinking with and they can complain about shit bc they're drunk and that's all they do they drink and complain and pretend they don't know each other once they leave the bar.

“honestly… i wish i wasn’t so fake. i wish i could change myself to actually be the person people see. all my fans, my friends, the people who like me are the ones who don’t know the real me. how cold and insecure and annoying i am. how everything i say contradicts my real feelings. but this isn’t just one thing about myself. this is the entirety of myself. there’s nothing likeable about me, unless i’m putting on an act. and if i stopped this act i’d lose everything. i know nobody can be an idol without some pretence but it’s so frustrating. sometimes i look in the mirror and i feel sick. why can’t i be the cute, bubbly yoo shiah everyone loves? because i’m not her. i’m nowhere near close to her. so there’s no point in dreaming that i can change.”

which talent would you most like to have?

“like my character do bongsoon, i would love to have super strength! that’s a talent, right? disregarding the fact that she has to hide it and all, because that sucks, it’s a great way to show how you can’t judge a book by its cover. and the whole girl power thing. though maybe i’d only use the talent to open jars easier, haha. unless… you mean a more common talent? i want to be one of those people who can fall asleep instantly, anywhere. it would come in handy when my schedule is busy.”

“it depends what you count as talking? mum makes me send updates every now and then, especially now when i’m so busy with my drama. how my acting is going, if i’m sticking to my diet, you know. i guess dad just hears whatever through her. and honestly, if she wasn’t so insistent on it, she would have to rely on my fansites or something. i’m so bad at staying in contact with people… and if we’re referring to real talking, like the heart to heart deep stuff, then the last time was… a long time ago. we tend to just stick to the basics, because that’s just how it’s always been. even when my brother left.”

what do you think you'd be doing in life if you had never gotten into highlite media, debuted as an idol, and then actress?

“well, i honestly don’t see myself doing anything outside of acting. so say that i didn’t go to a big company like highlite… i’ve always loved the theatre, so perhaps i would’ve gone into that rather than television. i’ve done some stage stuff for school, and the excitement of performing truly live is really so different from acting on screen. if i’d taken that route, then everything else would have changed too. even the person i am now, in some ways. but i don’t like thinking about the what ifs.”

task one reveal — honesty hour!

alright, entouragekrp, we’re kick starting activities with a roleplay favourite, honesty hour. what a good way to get acquainted with each other! it’ll also give people an opportunity to develop their muse if they feel like they’re struggling with this aspect. i’ve written down the rules, or more or less a go to guide for how to play, if you’re unaware already!

firstly, reblog this. it’ll let people know you’re up for playing, and if you are, then be sure to open your ask box, and if you want, have anonymous on!

now comes the fun part, send questions which people have to answer honestly, perhaps now would be a good time to get creative about your questions. send questions that will really get people thinking, think outside the box, throw people a wild card. it’d be a good time to talk to your crush or your favourite idol, too!

if you’re answering a question, then be sure to not skip around answering truthfully, we want all the details. also make sure you’re answering these questions in character as ooc answers are no fun.

as we’re still a fairly small group, try and send at least two questions ( at first, of course ) to everyone who is playing, that way there will be ample amounts of goodies and gossip dropped onto the dash. and take note, that while you’re answering in character, things revealed will have no effect on your muse ( meaning they won’t be picked up on by the gossip blog ).

be respectful, y’all are mature enough to know the boundaries of stuff. be mature to some extent? but above all, please have fun, this activity will be running until the 28th of this month and will serve as march’s first and last task.
