“Alright, if you insist.”  Henrik replied with a soft smile.  He wished he knew what his siblings had been up to in the last thousand years, but considering how bad it seemed to be, he didn’t feel comfortable asking.  “Oh really?  Is that good or bad?”

Bonnie looked at the boy for a second, wondering if he was anything like his siblings. She couldn’t sense that he was a vampire so that was a plus. “Unfortunately, yes I do know your siblings.”

Based on her reaction, Henrik could tell that she hadn’t had good interactions with his siblings.  “I’m sorry if they’ve caused you any harm.”

“ you don’t have to apologize for them.” she countered as she tilted her head. he had more humanity than the originals. it was hard for her to believe that somehow he was related to them. “ yeah, now that i’m fully aware of the history of this town. mystic falls is a PERFECT name for it.”

“Well, if I know Niklaus he’s not likely to apologize for anything.  Elijah maybe, but not Niklaus.”  Henrik had always been the most innocent of the Mikaelsons, and that was especially true now that he was the only human left in his family.  “It’s almost as if someone wanted people to find out about its secrets.”

“Well I’m sorry if any of my siblings have caused you any trouble.” Henrik smiled apologetically before letting out a soft chuckle.  “It’s called Mystic Falls now?  Well...  I suppose that’s an appropriate name for it.”

“ it’s NICE to meet you, i’m caroline.” she introduced herself softly. “ rebekah is fine. i think she actually has more HUMANITY than klaus half the time. but to answer your question, yes i know them. klaus made mystic falls hell for a little bit.”

“Nice to meet you as well.”  He nodded his head once and smiled softly.  “Yes, unfortunately Niklaus tends to have a bit of a temper.  I’m sure he means well, though.”  Henrik had always been close to Niklaus, perhaps the closest out of all his siblings, but he had no idea how much he might have changed in a millennium.  “What’s Mystic Falls?”

“ you’re klaus, rebekah && elijah’s brother ??” she questioned as her eyebrows pushed together while she registered that. “ does that mean klaus is here or on the way ?? really hope not. but YES they are the oldest && therefore most powerful.”

“And Kol and Finn, yes.  My name is Henrik.” He raised an eyebrow.  “No, as far as I know my brother’s nowhere near the city.  Rebekah’s the only one I’ve seen.  I take it you know them, then?”

caroline looked him over before pushing her hair over her shoulder, “ YES.” she stated, her arms crossed over her chest with a small smirk. “ let me guess, you believe those are myths, correct ??”

“On the contrary, actually.”  Henrik shook his head.  “My mother and brother Kol were both witches, and werewolves lived near the village I grew up in.  As for vampires, I believe my siblings are known as the Originals.  From what I’ve heard, they’re the most powerful of them all.”

“Humans as opposed to what?”  Henrik’s head tilted slightly to the side.  “Vampires?  Werewolves?  Witches?”
