This is so out of the blue and a bit personal, but it’s 5 am. My sweet baby passed a little over an hour ago. She was 10 going on 11, and the sassiest girl ever. She hated men, loved the girls and the gays. Cancer sucks, the grieving process sucks. I’ve been crying for weeks since getting the news that she had pulmonary embolisms in her lungs and a mass on her spleen. Some people may wonder why I’m writing all of this just hours after she passed. It’s merely a way to help me process this grief in the moment and to share the love I have for her.
