Fuck young managers, honestly. After dealing with a number of different managers, I much prefer ones who’re 40+ rather than barely 30 .. something about that extra 10 years makes a huge difference. In those 10 years, young ones must learn that BEING PETTY LOSES YOU GOOD WORKERS AND IN THE END FUCKS UP EVERYTHING ELSE Maybe, instead of trying to hire a buncha people at higher positions, you promote within to ensure they know what they’re doing.

I’m only 25, and have been i management off and on since I was 22. And every placed I’ve worked as a manger, every single one, has told me I’m one of the best they had. All my employees would tell me I was their favorite, and you could see it ok their faces and hear it in their voices when they realized they were working with me. And most of them hated our older managers. It’s all about maturity, respect, and doing your fucking job.

Neurotypical people will just never understand when a neurodivergent person says they can’t.

You can tell them, in great detail, that you think you want to do something and can’t get yourself to physically do it and they might sympathize, but ultimately they will not understand.

Why?

Because neurotypical people can just do things.

I have eaten one thing today, a sausage butty, nearly nine hours ago. I worked a 5hr shift at work and then climbed a hill to get to my home. I’m hungry. I can’t make food. I entered my kitchen, stared off into space for a few minutes, then got changed and got into bed.

I am still hungry. I can’t make food. None of the food that I could potentially eat without prep is appealing to me. I don’t want take out food. I dont know what I want to eat and if I have it in, I can’t make it.

If I explained this to a neurotypical friend they would probably just tell me to get over myself and make something. They won’t understand, because they physically can’t comprehend not having control over your body and what it does.

This isn’t their fault and I’m not trying to be aggressive to them. But sometimes you get offered solutions that won’t work for you because of the source they’re from. Try not to get too upset when that happens. As well meaning as it is, that advice isn’t meant for you.

Now I’m going to stop rambling on here and Google how I can trick myself into making some food. If you have any suggestions, let me know x
