New custom backcountry touring kit mounted on top of Spruce Osprey skiboards.

The rig has Tyrolia Ambition 10 bindings mounted onto thin plates on top of the boards. These are held in place with threaded inserts installed from the bottom of the skis. Obviously the bindings are now in a fixed positions and cannot be moved as is the normal case with skiboards, but it solves the problem with the bent risers that have been a problem on the previous design.

I had a big crash today at Arcalias, Andorra. Broke of my Spruce Osprey skiboards. Landed on my head such that the camera mount was completely ripped off.  Will probably have some light concussion from this
