As part of the upcoming festive season, we at Yume Week are pleased to announce a new event...

Yume Secret Santa 2017!

This will be an interactive gift exchange between members of the Yume community, where participants will be randomly assigned a person to give a gift to, and then exchange at the end of the holiday period.

Rules & Guidelines

The gift you give can be absolutely anything you like, whether that’s an edit, a fanfic, an AMV or anything else! 

As a receiver, you may provide a ‘theme’ or specific pairing for your Secret Santa to base their gift on, for example ‘Yume fluff’ or ‘Rukain angst’ etc. All Vampire Knight ships are welcome except for Yuuki x Zero.

We will be using the website DrawNames to randomly allocate names, which will send you an email telling you who your gift recipient is, and whatever requests they may have made for their gift. Because of this, you will need to provide us with an email address so that we can add you into our private DrawNames group. All email addresses will be kept completely confidential. 

If you would like to join this event, then please send us a message on this blog to let us know, and with an email address that we can use for the DrawNames website. Anonymous messages will not be accepted.

Once you’ve sent your message, please be on the lookout for a reply from us to confirm that your message was received. If you don’t receive a reply within a day or 2, please send your application again.

Dates & Deadlines

The deadline for signing up for this event is 10th December 2017. Please make sure to send us a message no later than this date, as we hope to release the name allocations on 11th December 2017. 

The gift exchange itself will take place from 25th December 2017 until 31st December 2017. Gifts can be posted anytime within this period. 

We hope that lots of you will participate in this exchange and enjoy it thoroughly! 

Please remember to keep it a secret who you are giving your gift to until the final exchange period, and to also tag the recipient in your gift. Please also remember to tag your gift with #YumeSecretSanta within the first 5 tags so that we can reblog all the gifts to this blog.
