yoongi was head of the forensics unit in daegu. he didn't think much of it. it was the perfect job for him - ironic considering his disgust of germs and dirt - but him and forensics went together like a fish in water. natural.
on occasion, he was called to crime scenes - to identify what possible event had occurred (other than a murder - obviously.) or to take samples or sometimes it was simply just to observe.
being the head (and one of the best) forensics in the country, certain privileges came from that. he could go a few miles past the limit and they wouldn't bat much of an eye and the particular places he smoked. but there was one condition they, asked, more than demanded; and it was to not get into an intimate relationship.
it was more for their sake, they didn't want yoongi going off and getting distracted. yoongi wouldn't listen though. he figured that the police unit couldn't tell him what to do.
and they couldn't. they weren't too pleased but yoongi showcased his talent and they let it slide. it helped that it wasn't a serious relationship.
yoongi was required to check out a crime scene and was told to "prepare himself". when he showed up, he could see why. all that was on the group was a bare torso - ripped of any clothing and bloodied to the point it looked like it was still bleeding.
three days later, the arms were found.
"slightly muscular, victim seems, or rather seemed, to be active. weights? dancing perhaps."
the legs were recovered later that week.
"dancer. must be. legs are extremely toned, matching along with the muscular body, yet still slim."
the head was found next. and since yoongi had shown no prior connection it was brought to him.
the minute he saw it - he paled, which was hard given his complexion.
