@z1nja
šµAnd Iām proud to be an American, where I eat in my car like a piiigšµ
If you try to eat in your car in Bosnia they kill you. They just kill you.
wait so technically vampires are vegetarians
op elaborate
blood is a non-meat animal product, like diary or eggs. that counts as vegetarian don't it
if a vampire only feeds on villagers it finds wandering around in a haunted forest or whatever, that counts as both eating local and free-range
#well. it counts as eating locals
new alignment chart made out of the Most Common Replies to this post:
not vegetarian, blood counts as part of the meat
not vegetarian bc you have to harm/kill the animal (human) to get it (not sure how these people think blood drives work???)
maybe vegetarian but only if you don't kill the animal (human) to harvest the blood
BLOOD IS VEGAN if the donor provides consent
So I decided to make a chart....
i gave my sister $100 for her bday, but i gave it to her inĀ $1 bills that i folded into origami. so thatās how she pays for delivery food & now the pizza girl thinks sheās a stripper
Youāre really good at origami holy sh
i learned it specifically to make these for this exact situationĀ
Arenāt you the same bitch that gave your sister $100 dollars in nickels?
same bitch
Yeah, neither of these things happened šš¼
listen here my good hoe, i canāt find photos of the 2000 nickels or the 20 stars, but i did not spend weeks planning meticulously inconvenient birthday giftsĀ over a period of years just to get whaled on by internet gremlins. here is some equally compelling evidence for an anecdote i was saving for later:
it weighed 68.6 lbs
same hellion yes
Citations could be so awesome without copyright. Imagine just being able to click on a footnote and it takes you to the exact section of another book being quoted. Imagine how much that would do for stemming misinformation.
guys i need to admit something⦠im the type of person to like a fic n never repost oneā¦.. iām sorry if youāve ever fallen victim to me.
I kept forgetting my nighttime antidepressant so I set an alarm where the sound was a recording of me saying "HEY. TAKE YOUR FUCKING PILL" because I thought it would be funny. It was funny about three times, and then it started making me mad and I'd dismiss it right away to make it stop. So I handed my phone to my partner, who made another recording sweetly saying "Okay Shira, it's time to take your medication" and now I don't get mad anymore and I take my pill. The "compassion over punishment" camp has gotta get something wrong one of these days
"lock in" is probably one of the most important phrases to enter the public lexicon in the 2020s
hello fellow artists. google has fallen. pinterest/duckduckgo AI filters don't work. do not despair; here is a list i made of places to find reference images without having to sift through piles of worthless garbage. (for future editing convenience i am just linking my blog post on dreamwidth.)
⨠good places to find art reference that are not full of AI trashĀ š
And if you're in a bind and your search engine allows it (google does), filter image results by date. meaning "show only images before day xyz" (it's in the search tools). put in December 2021. no AI results
lil baby elmo for @creatingblackcharacters' art challenge! š
i just had to put him in those denim overalls with the embroidered popout graphics because i always associate them with my preschool years š (where the 90s babies at?!)
That is DIABOLICAL museum design, A++, no notes
[id. A twitter post by @/Bennieeexyz Jury duty letter came addressed to my cat. Not a mistake. "Felix Martinez" - that's his full name according to his vet records. My last name. His first name. Somehow he's a registered voter now. Called the county clerk. Me: My cat got summoned for jury duty. Clerk: Is the name correct on the summons? Me: Yes, but he's a cat. Clerk: Is Felix Martinez a legal resident of this county? Me: He's a legal cat. Clerk: Sir, if the name matches our records, he needs to appear or file an exemption. Me: He can't file anything. He has paws. Clerk: You can file on his behalf. Me: Under what exemption? There's no box for "is a cat." Clerk: (pause) Check "unable to serve due to medical reasons." Me: What's the medical reason? Clerk: He's a cat. Me: That's not a medical condition. Clerk: It is if it prevents him from serving. Sent in the form. Got rejected two weeks later. "Insufficient documentation. Please provide medical professional's statement." Took the letter to my vet. Me: I need you to write that my cat can't do jury duty. Vet: Why is your cat summoned for jury duty? Me: Excellent question. No good answer. Vet: This is the weirdest request I've gotten. Me: Can you just write that he's medically unfit to serve? Vet: On what grounds? Me: He's a cat. Vet: (started typing) "Patient is unable to serve due to species-related limitations including inability to speak, read, or comprehend legal proceedings." Me: Perfect. Sent it in. Got another rejection. "Summons is mandatory. Failure to appear will result in contempt of court." My roommate thought this was hilarious. Roommate: Felix is going to jail. Me: This is serious. Roommate: Bring him to court. See what happens. Decided that was actually the only option left. Day of jury duty, put Felix in his carrier. Brought the entire paper trail of rejection letters. Checked in at the courthouse. Clerk: Name? Me: Felix Martinez. Clerk: (looked at the cat carrier) Is that Felix? Me: Yes. Clerk: (long stare) He's a cat. Me: I've been saying that for six weeks. Clerk: Why didn't you file an exemption? Me: I filed three. All rejected. Showed her the letters. She read through them, expression shifting from confusion to disbelief. Clerk: Someone rejected the veterinary documentation? Me: Twice. Clerk: (called her supervisor over) You need to see this. Supervisor read everything. Looked at Felix. Looked at me. Supervisor: How did a cat get registered to vote? Me: You tell me. Supervisor: This is a data error. Me: Took you six weeks to figure that out. They dismissed Felix immediately. Apologized for the inconvenience. Supervisor: We'll remove him from the voter registry. Me: Appreciate it. Supervisor: (pause) Out of curiosity, how would he have voted? Me: Probably whatever party supports universal treats. Got a formal apology letter a week later and a voter registration card. For me this time. Apparently I wasn't registered, but my cat was. Roommate: Felix committed voter fraud. Me: Felix committed nothing. He's innocent. Roommate: That's what they all say. Felix is sleeping on the jury summons now. Fitting end to his legal career. end id]
Please donāt let fandom ruin something you love. Walk away and unfollow the fans and enjoy the thing by yourself, or find a limited circle of people who ignore the discourse, or get your irl friends into the thing and collectively ignore the Internet community, or blacklist from here to the moon if you need to and only ever scroll through your rarepair shipās tag on AO3.
