A rare PC/AT “Writer’s plus” keypad released by IBM in 1987. While it enjoyed brief success it was quickly abandoned after the Erudite key would stop working after 6 months and the keypad would frequently end up stuck in ‘Complaint,’ although the Messaging coprocessor was re-used in many early internet terminals with less obvious consequences.
