tw sa, sexual harrasment, sexual traumas
I don't know who needs to hear this, but:
Sexual traumas don't make you less ace, and it doesn't invalidate your identity as an ace person.
Dealing with hypersexuality doesn't make you less ace, and it doesn't invalidate your identity as an ace person.
Dealing with sexual ocd, such as sexual intrusive thoughts or fantasies doesn't make you less ace.
Being a CSA/SA victim/survivors doesn't mean you are less ace, and it doesn't invalidate your identity as an ace person.
It's okay if you want to experiment with sexual interests, it doesn't make you less ace.
It's also if you don't want anything to do with sexual stuff at all, it doesn't make you less and you don't need it if it makes you feel bad.
If sex makes you feel bad despite being in years experimenting, let go.
Sex and sexual stuff shouldn't hurt.
Sex and sexual stuff shouldn't be something you have to tolerate. It is not something "you have to get used to".
There's a lot of the "You aren't really ace, you are just traumatized!" rethoric and that's sometimes can be come off as aphobic. Don't get me wrong, it is completetly nomal and healthy to try to explore your trauma, and it's okay if it's turns out it was a trauma reaction rather than asexuality. But, most of the times it, phrases like that implies that ace people aren't really ace and they are just traumatized or confused, which is not only false, but also a very harmful thing to imply to ace people with trauma. It implies that our existence is wrong...
Your experiences is valid, your identity is valid.
