This work flow shows the layers or information I began to analyze in the modeling of my commons. I began by modeling the roadbeds to begin to understand how people reach this important site. Access and transportation is important to my site because it welcomes millions of tourists from all over the world daily. Then, I began to look at subway stops in the area. This also becomes important for the WTC site as the new Path station (designed by Santiago Calatrava) is a controversial addition to the area development plan. Lastly, to expand on the same idea of the rapid and substantial development of the area, the building study I conducted was chronological to determined the building completion dates of the nearby buildings. The combination of this information can later be used to construct a narrative of the development of the WTC memorial and development efforts.
