To me it is so obvious Sierra suffers from Obsessive Love Disorder caused by Borderline Personality Disorder. While watching world tour again as a now adult, I realize how relatable she was for me, especially since I go through these same experiences.

Sierra is such a wonderful character who tragically suffers from these disorders that are so often vilified by society and media. We saw such vulnerable moments from her, we saw her splitting on people, her obsessive nature, her emotional imbalances but we also see so many genuine moments of her, being a good friend and a good person as well... But Fresh TV said nah let’s continue to only focus on her disorder and hint at her developing a nicer relationship with Cody only for it to be destroyed by the time All Stars happened, and for her to not have a character arc where we see Sierra try her hardest to overcome her more toxic behaviors caused by her disorder, no instead she obsessed over Cameron after they hint at a possible awesome friendship.

I have a lot of thoughts on Sierra but TLDR: im Sierra kin and I wish we got more than the primary ableist writing and a character arc where she can learn to love and help herself and form healthy relationships with other characters

I would also like to point out: yes Sierra had toxic and abuisve behaviors, which is why I’m even more frustrated by how they handled her character in All Stars

Towards the end of WT we see a genuine moment of kindness from Sierra, she knew it was Cody’s birthday and that actually made him happy, she helped him to the final three and we saw what seemed like more healthier interactions.

In All Stars, there was no Cody, this was going to be a new experience for Sierra, and we see her actual form a friendship with Cameron only for the writers to not continue developing Sierra and making her more aware of her behaviors while still keeping her borderline coded, instead they went the complete opposite. It just bothers me really bad.

Sierra got in All-Stars had the same treatment Trent got in Action: both of them had serious mental disorders, both of them were treated like crazy idiots by the writers and even the characters in the show, and both of them ended up losing important people for being "weirdos" (in Trent's case he was dumped by Gwen, and in Sierra's case her friendship with Cameron was ruined). What the hell were they thinking by writing this?! It's like literally the worst take you can make with neurodivergent characters, as basically they are making this poor mentally unstable teenagers look like psychos who should be avoided at all cost and mocked.

Seeing why they did with All-Stars Sierra makes me furious and sad because I love her character and genuinely think TDAS SHOULD! have been her season.

Being a whole season without Cody could have been great for her character development, but also very hard since she clearly has problems with abandonment and a is extremely dependent on him, and I actually like how she's written in the first episodes, as she drastically toned down her stalkerish and sexual behavior (still has some toxic attitudes, but she's getting better), she had several moments of weakness and also an extremely sensitive nature due her condition, and specially because despite she was having problems, Sierra still showed the super sweet, energetic and empathetic she probably would have it she was sane. Also, I liked the concept of her psychotic bouts (her hallucinations, delusional thoughts and loss of contact with reality were interesting. I found specially interesting the scene when she questions if she actually exists without he phone) but I hated the execution and wished it was treated with the respect and discretion needed, + it would have been nice if the rest of the Heroic Hamsters helped her, specially Cameron since their friendship was really sweet, and also it could have been interesting if she developed a friendship with Mike, as they could probably understand each other as both of them have to deal with their mental health issues.

Such a shame what they did to this girl.
