The CW's 'Dead Batman' Series to Introduce a New Son for Bruce Wayne

The CW's upcoming 'Dead Batman' series, Gotham Knights, is set to introduce a new son for the city's most notable billionaire, Bruce Wayne.

Uh huh?

Among several new cast members, it was recently reported actor Oscar Morgan will join the series as a new character: Turner Hayes. The character is described as an orphan, adopted by Bruce Wayne. “Despite the murder of his biological parents, Turner remains resilient and driven to live up to his billionaire adoptive father’s name. While charming and soulful, Turner has never quite felt comfortable in this world of wealth and privilege,” his description reads.

Seems weird that they create a new person when Tim, Dick and Jason are right there. Maybe they turn out to actually be a named character or maybe it’s a rights thing, with the show creator wanting those sweet royalties if “Turner Hayes“ shows up in the comics and other stuff.

Considering it came out recently that Batwoman was not allowed to have Poison Ivy appear in more than 3 episodes, and other issues other shows have had with being forced to write out characters because the movies wanted to use them (Deadshot, Amanda Waller, Constantine) they probably just created a character so they wouldn’t have to deal with “um..you can’t use Dick/Jason/Tim/Damian any more; kill or write him off”

God damn it…I am going to be mad af if DC actively prevented us getting more episodes starring the awesome lesbian plant MILF <3

Wait, DC STILL has goddamn Bat Embargo Bullshit going on? It’s been TWO DECADES! WHY DO YOU STILL KEEP DOING IT?!

Yup. Though weird given we might have four Dick Graysons, three Barbara Gordons running around. Found out the embargo was still around during Gotham. Why the creators had to work creatively when doing their interpretation of the Joker throughout the series. AND THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT.
