Randomania!

There's actually a lot to know about me. This will kind of end up being like a life story, so be prepared... First of all, if you believe homosexuality is wrong, unnatural, disgusting, perverted, evil, sinful, or an abomination, then just delete me from your list of friends right now. I'm Gay and I'm proud! My sexual orientation is a part of who I am. It doesn't define my personality 100%, but it's still a part of me. I have no problem showing pride for being gay or for supporting the rest of the LGBT community. And for the love of God, do NOT assume it's all about sex. Please don't. Being gay is also about love. And just because you're a straight man (if you are one) doesn't automatically mean I'll flirt with you. It doesn't even necessarily mean I'm even attracted to you in the first place. But if I do find you attractive, I know my boundaries just as I hope you understand yours. Also, Being gay is NOT a choice. It was something I was born with. I don't believe sexual orientation can't be influenced, changed, or chosen. It's also not a mental disorder, so don't treat it like one. Also, if we ever get into a political argument or debate, I'll often bring up LGBT rights. Just a warning. It was actually Katy Perry's "Firework" that helped me come out of the closet and accept the fact that I'm Gay. It was during my 10th grade year in high school. I was in a dark place at the time. I was feeling depressed and full of anxiety. I was confused about who I am and who I should be. I was actually in denial and once claimed to be bisexual instead of 100% gay. But I knew it wasn't right. I wasn't being who I am. So, when I first heard 'Firework', the lyrics spoke to me. It has such a beautiful and powerful message! But it was the music video that ultimately allowed me to finally have the courage to come out. And because of this, she ended up becoming my favorite singer and idol! I also have Asperger's Syndrome. If you have no idea what this is, look it up. It's basically part of the autism spectrum. I can't really explain it in full detail right here, but I can definitely say that it has caused me a lot of issues and struggles in my social life. I've always had a hard time communicating with people (especially those I don't know very well). I can be very socially awkward and tend to avoid conversations whenever I can. It often makes me come off as a really shy person, but I'm really not once you get to know me. Another common symptom of Asperger's is developing intense interests in a limited number of things. These have ranged from roller coasters, trains, planets, astronomy, insects (specifically bees even though I'm afraid of them), and twin tower buildings. My interests seem to constantly change, but often remain very constant and limited while they last. Some of these interests still remain though (like astronomy). I've been bullied a lot for who I am and who people think I am. It's been something I've struggled through my whole life. I was bullied for being quiet, having Asperger's, and for being gay. Middle School was probably the worst though. I was always the quiet kid. I would sit in the back of the room and isolate myself from other students. I also didn't have any real friends, so I couldn't stand up for myself or tell others (including teachers, my mom, and even my sister who I'm very close to). This basically lead to depression and high anxiety. I guess I was embarrassed and ashamed. I basically lost all my trust in people at this time. It made it really hard for me to make friends. The anxiety got so bad that I would often flinch at people who came near me because I was paranoid. By high school, my 9th grade year went by smoothly, but my 10th grade year is when everything seemed to come down. Not only was that the year I came out, but it was also the worst year I had since middle school. It got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. The stress, anxiety, and depression was too much. After the year was finished, I decided to just leave and get my GED. At the time, it was the best decision I made (for the sake of my emotional and mental health). Bullying leaves emotional (and sometimes physical) scars on youths. Fortunately, the physical scars will most likely heal. The emotional ones will remain forever. And because of this, I'm an advocate for anti-bullying. I'm a human rights activist. I support equality for everyone. Nobody should be treated different because of their race, skin color, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, etc. I'm also an environmentalist. I believe climate change is real. We're literally living in a time when it's truly happening. I support going green and recycling. We need to help this planet. If you deny the existence of climate change, then this is your second warning to just unfriend me now. I won't tolerate ignorance. As I mentioned before, I have a huge interest in astronomy and the universe in general. I support NASA and anything that helps us develop a better understanding of what the universe is. Planets, stars, solar systems, and galaxies have always interested me. It's just so amazing to discover new things about this massive (and seemingly infinite) universe. July 14th, 2015 was one of my favorite days in astronomical research. We finally flew by Pluto that day! It was definitely awesome and emotional. We made history! I have a really big heart and am very passionate about the things I love and believe in. Music, video games, and movies have been a huge part of my life. I've been inspired by the songs and music I listen to, the video games I play, and the movies I watch. And even though I don't have much of an interest in it anymore, anime also played a role in my life. I've been inspired to write, draw, and compose music because of these things. But ultimately, I'm currently studying Media Arts in college. I someday hope to have a career in multimedia, video editing, film making, and screenwriting. So, I mentioned that I like certain things (music, video games, and movies)... My favorite musical artists are Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, P!nk, and Simple Plan. My favorite Katy Perry song is "Ghost". My favorite Lady Gaga song is "Venus". My favorite P!nk song is "Just Give Me A Reason". And my favorite Simple Plan song is "Astronaut". I also listen to soundtracks from my favorite movies and video games. Speaking of video games, some favorites include Roller Coaster Tycoon, Legend Of Zelda, The Sims, Mario, Pokemon, Nitemare 3D, Blupi, Sim City, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, and Calling (Wii). First and foremost, Roller Coaster Tycoon has always been and will forever be my favorite video game! That was my childhood. I would spend almost all day playing this game (and still often do). It will always hold a special place in my heart! The first one is my favorite (obviously). My favorite Zelda game is Wind Waker. I love the story, gameplay, and graphics! Toon Link is definitely my favorite character! Majora's Mask, Ocarina Of Time, and A Link To The Past are really great games as well. Paper Mario is my favorite game in the Mario franchise. I love the concept. My favorite chapter is Flower Fields. I don't really know why though. As for The Sims, 2 and 3 will always be the best! I've honestly lost all hope for Sims 4 (it's a joke). Sims 3 is my favorite though. My favorite movie franchises include Final Destination, Amityville, and Scream. I'm kind of a huge horror fan. Final Destination is the best though! I know this probably makes me seem sadistic, but I love those movies a lot! My favorite is Final Destination 5. The best death scene is definitely the laser eye surgery (Olivia). Random Fact: My favorite number is also 180 (the recurring number in the Final Destination franchise). Amityville is a close second favorite franchise. The 1979 film is my favorite. The original trilogy is really great though! I think Amityville is extremely underrated and doesn't receive as much praise as it deserves. I consider these films to be classics. If you ever have the time, I definitely recommend watching them! Despite my seemingly huge interest in horror films, I do have a soft side. Final Destination and Amityville may be my favorite franchises, but Titanic (1997) is definitely my favorite film! The first time I saw it was in 5th grade and I fell in love. The movie is perfect. It makes me cry every time I watch it! From the moment the band plays the final song (Nearer My God To Thee), I just cry my eyes out! The only movie that has ever made me cry more than Titanic was Prayers For Bobby! ♥ It's a really emotional film about a young Christian boy who discovers he's gay and is shunned by his family because of it. He ends up committing suicide. It's a really good film to watch and I recommend it to anyone (especially for parents who may have a gay son). There are actually quite a few gay related movies I've seen and enjoy. Sordid Lives, Curiosity Of Chance, and Brokeback Mountain are some really good ones. I also like Disney movies. Cinderella (2015) is my favorite! I think it's the most dramatic and beautiful film Disney has ever created! I loved the animated version so much, so I wanted to see this one so bad! I'm happy I did. The movie is so magical! It's even better than the animated one (in my opinion). Pokemon is another movie franchise I love. I don't watch much of the TV show anymore, but I still keep up with the films. My favorites are 'Rise Of Darkrai' and 'Spell Of The Unown'. Other favorite movies include Gravity, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Frozen, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, and Wizard Of Oz. I also watch TV as well. Some of my favorite shows are Futurama, American Dad, and Family Guy. I've also enjoyed The Nanny, Glee, and The New Normal (wish it had a second season). Rugrats and Hey Arnold are my favorite 90's Nicktoons. Of the anime I still currently watch, Tenchi Universe, Big Windup, Pokemon, and Detective Conan are my favorites. So, I think that basically summarizes my life story. I'm a really nice person. I can be really friendly, kind, caring, and sensitive once you get to know me. I will admit that I do have my obnoxious, lazy, stubborn, and short tempered side though (I'm a Taurus). But I'm really not a bad person! I promise. All it takes is getting to know me! :) Just some random facts... my favorite food is almost anything that's pizza or chicken related. I love hot wings (boneless) with blue cheese. I also love fried chicken. Mushrooms and spinach are my favorite pizza toppings. My favorite drink is chocolate milk! I've always loved it since I was a kid. I'm pretty much addicted to it! But I'll occasionally drink other things like Coke, Pepsi, and Grape Kool-Aid. My favorite color is also purple!
