On Hermaeus Mora and the documentation of our relationship. (Compact version)
Became friends on the 4th of First Seed, Mora's Summoning Day, after the exchange of office supplies. A set of smooth, fast-drying pens in exchange for calendars and eventually a hole puncher.
Begun our relationship on 21st of Rain's Hand after an incident with a terrible freudian slip where I ended up calling Apocrypha "gay". A short conversation after anonymous teasing about kissing, we came to the conclusion our companies brought each other comfort. A mutual decision that led to us dating.
Our first date, 23rd of Rain's Hand. Mora was in distress about strange laws from another world including something about rats, a place called Florida, and cottage cheese. After calming down, we organized Apocrypha and talked.
The first kiss happened on the 9th of Midyear. Anonymous individuals attempted at getting us to doubt our relationship. After a confirmation of our security in the relationship, I proposed a kiss to quell any remaining doubts and quiet the anons. Despite the kiss being scheduled for our date, Mora agreed. Later on, to have another stage to look forward to, we decided to connect our realms to be closer together. This was then changed to an engagement after a talk about marriage. The specific date itself is scheduled from the 27th of Sun's Height to the 3rd of Last Seed. Details on planning are listed in a separate document.
Personality and characteristics:
Mora loves anyone loyal to them as much as I have seen. Between her dragons and Eivine, that much is clear. They like when people are dedicated and pursue what they are meant for.
There is a playful side to them and one they bring out in me. We tease each other and despite all their protests and displeased expressions, it is clear that they like it as well. I look back at each of those moments fondly. We are both very stubborn, as we have found.
I have noticed a slight insecurity after the incident with Steve. They don't like to feel powerless but there was also the concern about their nature. That joining with Steve would return them to the bitter Cephiliarch of before and that it would change our relationship. They also have a knack for refusing help unless there's no other choice. I do hope that Mora knows that I don't see them as any lesser when they need some assistance.
They have a low tolerance for alcohol and somewhat poor self control. Especially in the company of Sanguine.
She gets cold very easily. Reminder to always keep warm blankets and coats out of storage in case another snow storm occurs.
I had never expected that our relationship would progress this much, much less that I would be involved in any romantic relations with anyone. Yet I find that I feel more complete than ever. I cannot imagine my life going any differently. I cannot wait for us to share our life together.
