i never thought iād last to say this but happy birthday to this blog! i started loverthe8 exactly one year ago today and am very proud of myself that iāve kept it alive(barely) till i could make a post like this. iām very thankful for this blog because if it werenāt for this, i wouldnāt have met so many talented and truly great friends and be able to read writings so great that it makes me doubt my own skills as a writer hehe. as the new year of writing approaches, iāve convinced myself to write more frequently than before and,
as of this year, i am committing to:
write at least two auās per month
finally post my sns auās
finish all the requests piled up in my asks
write for other groups (got7)
although there will be few changes.
first, i will no longer post content i donāt like no matter how long nor how much it took for me to write them. if i donāt like how it turns out then it stays off the blog. this applies to current writings. i may rewrite them if i get the chance but as long as they feel,,, off? theyāre immediately back in docs.
second, i will be attempting to write themed auās!! meaning, according to the occasion, i would be writing auās for specific members. for example, i have a valentineās special ready for nct! even if they are still works in progress, this will help me motivate myself to write.
third, hiatuses arenāt really much of a big deal? i go on and off in this blog but as long as i keep it alive then iām good. the purpose of this blog is for me to have an outlet for my urges to write things no matter how implausible they may be. and maybe to make some friends. hehe.
fourth, please donāt ask me to write in a ānon-bulleted formā ??? writing in an au type of way for me is very non restricting. i donāt follow much of a system and a format and that is a method that works for me the best. the fanfiction i write are very much not formal and are not meant for serious purposes. so whoever than anon is, please stop sending asks about how i write :)
as wordy as those changes are, some things arenāt changing on this blog!
criticism about my work is ok, but, only for the facts i got wrong and possible offensive behavior/language. writing tips are helpful too!
