At the sight of the heart emoticon on the others mask he felt a bubble of pride in his chest. He was noticed and praised in a way for being noticed. “What uh…What brings you out here? Another challenge?” And this is where he fails at trying to awkwardly start a normal conversation.

zer0 crosses their arms, tilting their head inquisitively. they lean on one leg, their entire body in a sort of relaxed position, despite the weapons strapped to their body. but ... they figure that this man isn’t too much of a worry. they seem to ... absorbed in admiration.

and scooter, though undoubtedly talented, excelled in a different field entirely. if this person needed high-tech stuff she’s strapped for information. her gadgets and gizmos functioned on the low end of modern technology.

       ‘ i dunno. might wanna try one of the buzzard camps. figure it takes some sort of technological know-how to run those things, right? ’

they scratch the back of their neck as if thinking. they know of a buzzard camp close by ... though taking down a whole camp would be rather difficult with a sniper rifle ... but not impossible. hm, they could do it with some ... work.

Fiona tipped her hat forward slightly. “Hey. Sorry, kinda unexpected.” She quickly brushed her hair out of her face. “You just, uh, kinda looked like you might need a bit of help. Which you probably don’t, so, uh, sorry.”

zer0 tilts their head a little, pressing a four-fingered hand against the side. the town had rearranged itself since they had last visited, so ... they’re at a loss.

The same amazing vault hunter that he had witnessed kick ass more than once since he’s come to Pandora is standing RIGHT in front of him and he can hardly restrain his surprise… and excitement. Anyone can see the ‘fanboy’ expression bright as day on the guy’s face as he stares in awe. He ends up ogling in an awkward silence for far too long before he clears his throat and flashes a sheepish smile. 

“U-uh… Hi.”

ah! it’s this guy! they met when zer0 was off searching for gortys ... hmm, moxxi had some words to say about it, but they figured it would be okay eventually. but right now, they aren’t too busy ... the job they’re on right now can be delayed some, and zer0 tilts their head.

He knew this guy. This guy didn’t know him but he definitely knew him. How could he not? He was one of the coolest Vault Hunters. But we’re just going to forget the fact that he had a hand in killing Rhys’s favorite hero, Handsome Jack. “Oh wow…wow. Ok. Hey, uh. Just wanted to say that you’re…you’re really cool…!”

oh. how kind. they aren’t used to this kind of appreciation, so it comes as a pleasant surprise. so, almost definitely, they haven’t met the man, but they do appreciate the gesture. it’s been awhile since anyone has referred to them with something other than fear or distaste ... mostly because of jack, you know.

ahh ... yes, scooter. they did think about visiting him or ellie, but figured that they would not have the part that zer0 needs. it was more of a electric part, so they figured they should find someone to do it ... they heard there was a good mechanic on elpis, but ... that was a bit far for them.

Good times.” He chuckled, surprised he, a rather average college student, had even gotten lumped into that whole affair, and came out of it alive.

that intrigues them. of course - they shouldn’t be surprised, considering that there were vaults everywhere, but ... ahh, right. they remember why lilith doesn’t like athena ... or anyone associated with her. yes. but, zer0 has always been a neutral

there’s a lot of pain on their right side, and not the first time - they’re glad that they’re ambidextrous. they pretend to be dead for a few moments, before sliding one eye open and glancing around on their left side and ... upon seeing nothing, they push their self up, picking up one of their fallen pistols. they know their rifle is somewhere - though they can’t be sure whether or not it is functional.

they train the pistol at the other person in the wreckage - an assassin they know well. in all honesty, zer0 thinks they could take them in a fight but - it’s better not to take any unnecessary risks, and so they keep the pistol steady as they glance around once again.

any sudden movements for a weapon or an attack, and it will result in a bullet.

oh, they know athena! she was very skilled, and they were impressed by her abilities. they hadn’t heard from her in awhile, but they assumed she was taking a break from being an assassin. nodding, zer0 rests one hand on their hip, tilting their head to the other side.
