When it comes to Ultra Beasts, it has been stated that they are based on invasive species and things that can negatively affect the ecosystem and environment. Some Ultra Beasts are easier to understand their inspirations better than others are, and after some research, I wanted to share my personal thoughts and reasons on their inspirations and how they equal to things bad for the ecosystem.
(sun) and (moon) are added since these ones are version exclusive to sun or moon
Aside from being called the 'Parasite Pokemon', I read that jellyfish, which is an inspiration for Nihilego, are consider invasive species at times due to them possibly aggressive enter bodies of water it is not native to, and Nihilego is shown to be aggressive when they entered Alola for the first time.
Buzzwole: UB-02 (sun) Absorption
Some mosquitoes, which is an inspiration for Buzzwole, can be considered invasive in different regions and due to sucking blood and nectar and risks spreading diseases, that's how it can harm animals and people in nature, and Buzzwole absorbs from other living beings to achieve a chemical reaction to improve it's muscles, which is similar to steroids, which is ultimately harmful to living beings.
Pheromosa: UB-02 (moon) Beauty
Pheromosa takes inspiration from cockroaches, being household pests that move rather fast, and these are definitely considered invasive when they enter people's homes and it releases a kind of pheromone substance that can be compared to synthetic drugs like aphrodisiacs.
Xurkitree: UB-03 Lighting
At first glance, it looks like a bunch of electrical cords, so while not looking like an animal, electrical cords, like outdoor cords and and electric posts, do have a negative impact on the environment due to taking up a lot of space to produce electricity and the cords can hurt living beings with it's electricity.
Celesteela: UB-04 (moon) Blaster
This was hard to figure out, but I read that bamboo can grow fast and it can negatively impact the ecosystem when planted in places it is not native too, especially running bamboo, due to being able to aggressively spread in underground rhizomes, but also, with Celesteela's being similar to a spaceship, it's launching can negatively impact it's environment due to the sounds and what it leaves behind after take off.
Kartana: UB-04 (sun) Blade
Kartana's habit of cutting and slicing things, it reminded me of deforestation, since Kartana cuts and slices things, destroying things, and cutting down trees and other natural things, while creates space, disrupts the environment and ecosystem by removing trees and other things that are necessary for animal habitats, food, and other ecological necessities and leaves nothing but empty areas behind.
Guzzlord is based on the Taotie, a mythical Chinese creature that symbolizes, gluttony, but this one, but I think this one is the most obvious when it comes to endangering the environment and ecosystem by consuming everything it wants and leaving nothing but destruction and ruin behind, look at it's homeworld, Ultra Ruin, Guzzlord ruined it's own world due to it's destructive and gluttonous behavior.
Poipole/Naganadel: UB Adhesive/UB Stinger
I think out of all the Ultra Beasts, Poipole looks the most like an alien from outer space, so that alone can give it an invasive species and while Naganadel's inspiration, the tarantula hawk wasp, is not an invasive species, it is still a deadly due to being the predator of tarantulas, but it's poison can act as an adhesive, which can endanger the environment which can bind things and make separation difficult, which can be similar to what pollution can do.
Stakataka: UB (moon) Assembly
Stakataka looks like a building, which are created using natural materials like wood and stones and take up a lot of space, which are often built after natural resources are taken and areas that most likely already belong to animals and nature are cleared away in order for the building to take place, and once it's built, it can't really be remove easily, basically taking over the area.
Blacephalon: UB (sun) Burst
This was the hardest, but since it can make it's head explode like fireworks, that can be why it's called an invasive species because fireworks can disturb local wildlife due to the very loud noises and sudden brightness in the sky, startling creatures that witness these sounds.
I might be overthinking some of these, but these are my thoughts on how Ultra Beasts are invasive species beyond the obvious entering another dimension. If you have your own thoughts on Ultra Beasts, feel free to share!
