Okay, these two idiots relationship is practically Cannon only they aren't as actively hostile toward eachother and more like reluctant partners in crime both knowing they possibly need eachother to escape. Julius, being a bit of a rebel and activity, chose to assist Reed because he had something he wanted (a better chance at getting out) they have moments but in the end just reluctantly tolerate eachothers-

In short their relationship is basically "I'm only really helping you to get what I want"

God, as much as I hate my writing, I kinda wanna write the interaction on how they teamed up and how they met Christopher- ._. —Julius probably wouldn't be able to cook for shit because he expects it to be done for him and probably had a butler and chef. (Bcz his parents defo don't pay him attention so he had servants)

Meaning— Julius manages to burn something they didn't even need in the recipe or just straight up burns paper/water while Reed is both confused asf and equally concerned/annoyed by the fact Julius set a fire in the classroom.
