Time it takes to make a zine (perzine specifically)

Below is an example of things taking TIME (sometimes):

2023 (spring) Ideas brewing ☕☕☕

2024 (spring) Thinking about turning those loose ideas into a ZINE. Writing, editing, sketching, drawing individual pages in Procreate.

2024 (fall) Giving up after getting too frustrated with zine layout and printing 😢

2025 - Becoming determined again to finish the zine and submit it to a zine machine contest. Printing in black and white (instead of color) to simplify the process. - Zine selected for a zine machine project! 🎉🎉🎉

2026 Printing the zine in a slightly bigger format and with a colorful cover (the way it was initially intended).

Rock Paper Scissors: Book & Print Fair is happening on Feb 22 in Guelph, ON!

It will bring together artists, illustrators, collectives, micro-publishers, ZINE-MAKERS, printmakers etc.

This year they will have a free distro table and are inviting all vendors and patrons to take one-leave-one: ZINES, posters, and prints can be contributed to the free distribution table as an offering of community care 🤗

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!
