I read from @ nzekiev on twitter that the day before yesterday it was very hard for Africans to get on any train in Kyiv, they were letting them in the last, many managed to get in only coz they started pushing African women into the train so they had to allow everyone in. Before that if they managed to get on the train they were sent back outside with the phrase "Ukrainians first", but nobody was checking anyone's passports.
Today, February 27, he says the Ukrainian soldiers at the Polish border were holding them at gunpoint if they crossed the border before Ukrainians. These are students, they can't be fighting this war!!! Other people of color share on twitter that it's harder for them to cross the border, a Nigerian medical student told @ stephheharty they were told Ukrainians go first and were sent to the back of the queue by Ukrainian soldiers on Polish border.

Some people asked me to do a tutorial on drawing rocks, and since I found myself drawing rocks a lot these days, I thought I would share some things that I do.
Note: I am not a professional artist nor have I received much professional instruction. I am self-learned and thus prone to error. If you see anything wrong with the above contents, feel free to point it out, and generally, take this whole thing with a grain of salt. You donโt haveย to draw rocks this way.
And since this is my first time making a tutorial, feedback on readability/helpfulness would also be welcome, so that I can have a better idea of what to do in case I make another one.

Another thing you guys both have in common is your love for science, he usually doesnโt get to talk about it much since most of his time is split up with work and friends but heโs always glad that heโll ba able to have interesting conversations with you.
His love language is quality time, he loves to spend the day with you doing.. pretty much anything! Kurooโs a flexible guy and if you want to do something simple like stay home and watch some movies or something more interesting like go out to a club, he has absolutely no problem doing either of them. As long as he gets to stay with you, he really doesnโt mind.
I see him as the type to make you watch a bunch of different shows but his favourite ones are definitely crime related ones, he annoys the crap out of you by nudging on your shoulder each episode and asking you to tell him who the killer was with your psychology skills, and you literally have to explain to this grown ass man why it doesnโt work like that.

Kurooโs a busy man, he has to settle a lot of things and deal with a lot of calls which is why half of the time he is a little.. distracted and all over the place.
He was dealing with another hectic call and holding up the line at this coffee shop, between giving the person on the other side of the phone some answers and trying to read through the complicated menu. It was a hard thing to manage.
Luckily, you were there to help him out. Quickly slipping past him and telling the cashier an order that you thought heโd like before giving him a lazy shrug, โYou were taking too long, and you look liked you be the type to drink it. If you donโt like it, Iโll pay for it.โ
The expression on his face was sort of priceless because he definitely wasnโt used to being treated like that at all, and when he picked up his coffee he was pleasantly surprised by how much he liked it.
Right before he left to go to his office, he ran into you and chatted you up. Dubbing you with the name โcoffee girlโ and asking you if youโd be interested in going out sometimes, not like you really had a choice though since he got your number and left before you could even argue with him.

There wasnโt a specific destination you guys were trying to get to, you were sort of just wandering around and chattingโstopping by cute shops and convenience stores to buy some snacks, and you somehow even convinced him to follow you and you both ended up at a random swing set at 12 AM.
The night was actually pretty eventful, you both got to know each other even better and as much of a coincidence as it was, there were fireworks nearby that day that you actually managed to steal a glance at. It was a success, for a lack of better words, and honestly it was nice to see him more relaxed like that. But he did promise to take you out on an actual date the next time you went out.

This is something I hate SO MUCH about how tumblr talks about money.
Like, I get that famous actors have large amounts of money, some of them are even probably overpaid (I have complicated thoughts about how actors are paid because of the nature of acting as a career), but they are exchanging labor for money, and their salaries are an expense involved in making a movie.
But like... an actor is paid for a job. Theyโre a worker like the rest of us. Bezos isnโt paid for a job, heโs paid for being the person who owns Amazon and despite being obscenely wealthy, he does all sorts of shitty things and to underpay and exploit his workers, and avoid paying taxes, so that more of the money Amazon generates will be profit (workerโs salaries are not profit, theyโre a business expense).ย
These two mechanisms of acquiring money are fundamentally very different.ย
The reason why billionaires are evil arenโt because having money is bad, its because to get a billion dollars you have to cheat. You have to take it from someone else. If Bezos paid all his workers and suppliers fairly and treated them well, and paid his fair amount of taxes, and etc, then it literally wouldnโt matter how much money he earned, because he wouldnโt be doing anyone any harm. But its not actually possible to amass a billion dollars (a full order of magnitude bigger than a million) while behaving in an ethical manner.ย
