I’m a straight up villain, straight up villain, yeah, no feelin', yeah, no feelin'. I'm alive, but I'm dead, hear my voice up in your head, watch it fill you full of dread 'til you go POW. Is it really a surprise if I'm playing with your mind and I treat you like a prize then I throw you to the side? Am I really that bad if I love to make you mad and get happy when you're sad, only care about a bag?

I literally love everything about K/DA (besides League of Legends of course), and I think their whole concept is great. Their music is always top tier, and Villain is probably my absolute favourite of them all. I could probably talk about the music video for hours if given the chance; there’s so much about it that warrants words. Firstly, the animation is god-tier. Everything about the animation is amazing, from perspective to lighting and detail. The editing of the video is also amazing. I’m personally more a fan of edits in time to the music rather than the lyrics, and this video satisfies that all the way. Of course, the lyrics are actually something I can kind of relate to as well, so it’s almost like a personal anthem if you will! Evelynn’s character is so cool, and her K/DA designs are also lovely, so that’s always a bonus. My affinity for horror and disconcerting things also add to my love for this piece. All in all, I would recommend this to absolutely anyone and everyone!!

あっちこっち (2012)

Feelings may come and go, but true love always remains in the heart. Tsumiki Miniwa is in love with her best friend, Io Otonashi. For her, confessing is nearly impossible; but to her friends, they seem to be the perfect match. Cute and petite, Tsumiki comes off more as a friend, and Io’s attitude toward her is friendlier than toward others. Despite the constant teasing and obvious hints that his friends have been dropping, Io always seems to miss the signs.

This is 100% my all-time favourite anime. It’s light and easy to watch, funny, and has loveable characters for days! It has gotten me through many rough times, so I always highly recommend it to anyone that hasn’t watched it. Even though many people believe that slice-of-life anime are boring, あっちこっち always has something new around the corner! And to top things off, both the opening and ending themes are absolute bangers.

Odd Eye (2021)

See the hidden secret, odd eye. Fall even deeper inside, covered by the sweetness of all of the lies. The eyes have worn down the border. Despair coming at you till the end, will there ever be an end? Back and forth, this isn’t the place you’ve been looking for. No more Utopia.

True to their current series “Dystopia”, DREAMCATCHER is back with another themed release! While I’m not a huge fan of the song itself, the lyrics and music video are lovely. Staying true to the theme of the past two releases, Odd Eye is about the desire to reach a utopia made by those who cannot reach it, and the struggle that comes with wishing for something unobtainable. Also true to the series is the music video, with elements of sci-fi, magic, and jarring graphics. While I’m happy with the video and lyrics, I do wish the song hadn’t strayed so far from DREAMCATCHER’s usual rock vibes. The chorus still has the unmistakable rock guitar, but as this series of releases progresses, it seems the songs become more and more contemporary-sounding.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe is one of my all time favourite horror movies— and that’s coming from someone who’s incredibly picky about horror movies. There’s so much artistry the the cinematography provides, and it leaves you on the edge of your seat without showering you n pointless jumpscares. If you’re someone that can’t handle too many jumpscares and that’s what deters you from watching horror movies, I recommend trying this one! Of course, horror movies aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a sucker for beautiful cinematography like I am, that would be enough to give this movie a watch.
