Him: “I just got out of a serious relationship so I’m not looking for anything serious at the moment.” Me: oh…well what does that mean? I’ll tell you what it means. To him it means he got played by a girl and now is “scared” to get his feeling hurt. So now he’s gonna use me and play me until he gets bored and moves on to next. Then the next until he feels confident enough to go out with this person. Then they will go out and do couple things for a while until she rips his heart out and he is back to square one. Where he will be bored and lonely and come to me saying “I’m not looking for anything serious”. What it means to me is I’ll find a guy, I’ll think he’s great, I’ll catch feeling and have a little hope that maybe just maybe he will be the one. WRONG! I’ll see him and be with him more until he gets bored and goes on to the next like I was nothing. Now I stay behind confused and hurt thinking I’m not good enough. Then it happens again and again to the point where I think I am not good enough. I’m always second best. I’m never the girl anyone gives a chance to be with. If they would give me a chance I wouldn’t break their heart. I will appreciate them because for so long I have always been the last resort and I never ever have been the main love. So now what? I’ll give in to their little cycle because I’m always hoping there might be a chance. I’m just a last resort type of person. They will move on like it was a phase and it will stay in my heart forever. I will replay in my head that every guy/relationship Never saw me as good enough. Why? What’s wrong with me! I have so much love to give and no one gives me the chance to show them. There will always be someone prettier, skinnier, funnier, just all around better because I will never be good enough. Him: “It means I’m not looking for a girlfriend at the moment but we can still chill right?” Me: “Of course”
