He did not want to give in to temptation.  He knew he was trying to bait him into snapping.  

“Well la-di-da for you!  I’ll eventually find out about it on my own!”

He REALLY wanted to hold back.  He didn’t know if he would be able to, however.

"You know, I could always hunt down one of the pharaoh's counterparts and let him have at you.  I'm sure they'd be more than happy to play the "hero"~  He smirked in return.  Gods, he hoped the kid would give him a reason, just one.

He smirked. He wanted to make Kura angry. Plus he'd rather have Kura be the one to try and kill him, himself. And this would probably do just do just that. "Well that wouldn't be a good thing, me and you little one are together."

Now all he had to do is wait for Kura to processes that and explode.
