Queer and neurodivergent people will always be welcome here, and I won't tolerate intolerance for the sake of perceived peace. It's not because I don't openly talk about it often that I don't support it, I'm just trying to give an escape, a place where people hopefully can get a bit of respite from everyday life. Many places in the world are still unsafe or are regressing for us, and I think that's important to address, but I also feel it's important for me to give everyone a safe space where they can put their fear aside and be themselves. People are complex, and I can't answer to everyone's needs, but if I can help many, or even a few, feel like their day is just a little less bad, then I enacted my purpose. I don't have a large following, I don't have a loud voice, but it doesn't mean that I can't try.
Remember.....not being understanding, not getting informed, not accepting others, that's a choice, being queer or neurodivergent is NOT. People don't *choose* to be gay, trans, asexual, nonbinary, autistic, ADHD, and everything in between for all spectrums, it's just who they are, and trust me.....if they could choose, they likely wouldn't pick the option that makes their lives so hard and/or dangerous. If you don't know things, or don't understand, that's ok, people are very often, happy to explain to you what their identity, orientation or mental struggles mean to them, but choosing to not listen or not understand cuz you don't feel like it is not the same as genuine circumstantial ignorance. Effort goes a long way for everybody involved.
Don't give up on yourselves, and keep striving to be the best you that you can! <3
