Shhhhhhhh!!! Don't wake them! Commission Info
I'm kinda glad Jet didn't live to find out Lee and Mushi totally were firebenders and totally did contribute to the downfall of Ba Sing Se. The last thing that guy needs is his paranoia being 100% validated, he'd never let anyone hear the end of it.
cant wait for the Avatar after Korra cus its like. are they gonna be dealing with a nuclear winter or mean comments on their Avatar universe equivalent Wattpad ? uncharted territory.

Nearly two decades later, I think it just fully hit me why Iroh told Zuko's crew about how he got his scar. It wasn't just to say, "Have some sympathy for him, he had a hard childhood." It was because the crew were all upset (rightfully so) that Zuko had said, "The safety of the crew doesn't matter." and Iroh was trying to point out that, yes, what Zuko had said was wrong, but that's not what he really thinks, at least, that's not what he used to think. There was a time when Zuko cared about the safety of soldiers he had never even met, so much so that he spoke out of turn, which is what led to the domino effect that caused all of them to be sitting on that ship together. And this is brought full-circle when Zuko climbs the ladder to help the helmsman at the end of the episode. And that's when the crew realizes that, temperament aside, Zuko actually has been and is still willing to put everything on the line for the safety of others.
god bless iroh’s patience
"What's on your mind?" "Your sister" Could easily be a Zutara fanfic quote but it's literally a canon dialogue between Zuko and Sokka about Katara.
Also the fact that the context is Sokka about to have a romantic date with Suki, cue Zuko barging in like “Sokka I need you to tell me how to get your sister to like me.” Peak romantic comedy tropes.
Zutara Week 2021 Day 3: Glowing
Happy Zutara Week Everyone!
I have this whole scene expanded in my head with a conversation with Suki and everything, but it turned out to be bigger than I’m able to make at the moment and would sort of move away from today’s theme. So I’m saving it for another day when I have the wherewithal to give it the attention it needs to be good. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this comic! <3
I forgor how to draw katara 😭 This page is me warming up and figuring out how to draw her again.
