Hi hi hi- Iâve been off the radar for a bit (TLDR: life has been exhausting and hectic) hereâs some silly doodles of the guys- I am still planning on a big lore post (I SWEAR!) life just got really busyâŚ
âEvergreenâ Is the story of one of my favorite OC duos, Tsuru Kimura and Tsukushi Kiyo (Tsu^2) through their ups and downs and eventual happy ending despite all the bull crap. It is mostly set from the 1980s to the 2010s, in both Osaka and America with some detours in other countries. Overall it is the story of an everlasting friendship and eventual romance. For now Iâm just going to go over the main duo (personality, birthdays, hobbies, etc) Iâll post the main story beats + more art very soon!!!
Tsuru Kimura,
10/7/82 (Libra, year of the Dog)
To most Tsuru seems like the stiff and 'overly responsible' type of guy, he's often people's first choice when they vote for the leader of a group project, which is fair, he spent the majority of his school years as a member of the student council and even president in the later years⌠and he keeps everything he can control in order, but under that well-tempered exoskeleton of a person is a frankly nervous guy. He wants to live up to every expectation and what's more important to himself than his own expectations for himself, is helping people. He wants to take his time to understand others and even give the benefit of the doubt to a lot of people who have no one, and he wants to try his best to push them to be better even if he isn't the best at talking to them. He finds his fulfillment in working in public health with people who are left behind by society.
His hobbies include collecting miniature train models, reading comics, collecting and trading âmonsterâ cards, surfing, hiking, and cooking.
Best Habit: Heâs extremely reliable, if he promises something consider it done!
Worst Habit: He has a tendency to just âgo with the flowâ and even blatantly lie or âbend the truthâ just to keep the peace while micromanaging situations.
Favorite Food: He isnât picky and has very few preferences, but he enjoys his fathers Mimiga with Ponzu.
Favorite Vacation Location: He prefers staycations but out of every destination heâs been to Okinawa and Barcelona take the cake.
Tsukushi Kiyo,
5/22/82 (Gemini, year of the Dog)
Someone's upon first meeting Tsukushi would probably think that he is highly social and even charming but after some familiarity some would realize that he isn't an extrovert (in the terms that he doesn't gain much from social praise or fame from everyone around him), but he often struggles to realize this fact among other things for a lot of his life. He had found purpose in being popular and 'the cool guy' but after some self-realization, he finds actual happiness in being around the people he cares about and making a mark on the world through his creativity he had previously ignored. He's an enthusiast for fashion of all kinds and explores his inner self through his presentation and creations.
His hobbies include reading fashion magazines, sewing, playing old video games, collecting clothing (especially in alternative styles), planning outfits, blogging and looking at pictures of bunnies online.
Best Habit: When heâs in his stride he is unstoppable, heâs loud and excitable about what he cares about, which extends to the people around him! He is genuinely the best cheer leader anyone could ask for, and wants to be helpful in anyway.
Worst Habit: Despite being so affluent with people heâs excellent at isolating himself and focusing to much energy on his own shame and fear of failure, causing him to at times lash out at the people who care the most about himâŚ
Favorite Food: As a child he was extremely fond of Welsh rarebit and (ârawâ) broccoli, itâs something he can always eat even when heâs upset, his grandmother always made it for him.
Favorite Vacation Location: Yamagata (in the winter), itâs quiet, the hot springs and skiing spots are amazing, but more importantly it holds his favorite memory.

An extra fun fact: They are both the youngest in their families, both of them having one older sister each coincidentally!
1. Describe your OC physically- what do they look like? What notable features do they have, or whatâs your favorite part of their design?
Tsuru Kimura
Kimura is a pretty tall, and pale guy. He has short dark green hair he often cuts to keep out of his way (especially in the summer months!) he has several pairs of glasses but they all share the same thin rectangular shape and red frame color. His eyes are also a dark shade of maroon. His isnât particularly muscled but can be described as having a âswimmers bodyâ if you squint (he swims and runs a lot, so itâs concentrated in his lower body & arms.) My favorite part of his design is honestly his jawline and his arms, I also enjoy drawing his very⌠hesitant expressions!
Tsukishi Kiyo
Kiyo is decently tall although a little shorter than Kimura (which is something he complains about often- at some point in their teens he was much taller for a while) he is tan, and naturally has red hair and green eyes but often dyes his hair (pink, black, and blonde) his face is pretty âheart-shapedâ while his body is decently slender with subtle musculature from casual infrequent cardio. I absolutely love drawing Kiyos hair changes and fashion choices!

This is a simple OC side blog for the whole gaggle of my OCs mostly (Kiyo, and Kimura) at the moment) my OCs born from my overly complicated head canons of Konno and Tsukishi from TMGS 1-3!
