HeroCon: Otheon should be easy: panels, cosplay, and a weekend of heroes being nerds for once. With the Japanese Pros being invited to be panelists and a long awaited reunion, everything points to an enjoyable trip to be filled with good memories. But beneath the familiar excitement, the spotlight proves heavier than expected and the past lingers in the sense that the city hasn’t forgotten everything that once happened there. And somewhere beyond the convention halls, old shadows may be starting to move again.
