Btw in the next month im about to start posting art again at a level that is kinda insane? Like a lot of it is portfolio work so it looks like it belongs in an animated series Art book but i am talking about the sudden growth in skill ive had in the last 8 months and i have to just say yes im in a lot of pain from overusing my arm but this is the type of pay off that happens when youre insane about doing what you love and im overjoyed. And mark my words i WILL get my series made if i have to animate the entire thing myself and show it to producers already made for them to buy it off me.

Whelp the mystery of my new pc was outed by another player bc he also wanted to play the same thing 🙃 should i a. Play the thing anyways bc it was my og intent even though the surprise is gone? Or b. Change it up to hold on to some control over my character and still get to have my secrets.

Im irritated btw like i feel like this player undermines my choices and characters a lot and i understand that accidents happen but id actually only told a few people about this so we could avoid overlapping traits in the upcoming campaign and done a really good job keeping it secret for the characters it wouldve been a surprise to bc it has to do with his pact and it’s something hes keeping under wraps but this person went “imma be a fucking dhampir damn it it don’t matter if lily is one too” out loud in the car today according to his partner who was one of the ppl it was a secret for and actually didnt know and texted me shocked bc they didnt know like damn 🥲 like maybe he thought his partner knew or didnt know id kept it a secret (though i had private sessions with my dm to discuss this character build for the surprise of it), i like to give the benefit of the doubt to people but its a pattern with this person at this point. He shit on my paladin so much last campaign and how i played him to the point where he got bored and killed two of his own characters and decided to bring a paladin that talked over mine for maybe 5 sessions at the tail end of a 2 year campaign btw till it was obvious that this character wasnt doing anything my character wasnt already doing and had no connection to the narrative of the campaign at that point and was abandoned for a wizard again (third time hed abandoned a character to play a wizard in this campaign btw). I still have the recording of the session he introduced his paladin titled “ts pmo”. I just dont know what to do. Like im worried to bring it up to people bc hes everyones friend before they were mine and i dont want to cause drama. Idk like every time i give him some benefit of the doubt he always does some shit like i swear to god he treats me like im stupid.

I get such a weird feeling in my stomach when people actively dislike Ireena (curse of strahd) like idk maybe your dm played her weirdly, played her as a damsel in distress constantly getting kidnapped, i guess thats a valid complaint, but i will always find myself questioning what it is you dont like about her? What about her story/character of a woman so trapped by her circumstances do you dislike? What do you dislike about a woman who is fighting the doomed battle of trying to escape her stalker who is a god-power level being, literally in control of the ground she exists on, who only sees her as a reincarnation of a woman he was in love with centuries ago? A woman whos parents are dead and adopted father died trying to protect her, a woman you meet when she still has her fathers coffin in her living room bc she cant go outside to bury it without fear of being taken and drained who has no one willing to help her except her adopted brother who is in a similar boat, and even if she could go outside and perform the funeral rites with just her and her brother, the church won’t allow her adopted father to be buried there for the risk of incurring strahds attention. Like yes of course im an adult i know people dont have to like every character and can even dislike characters but it just rubs me weird when people actively dislike ireena or call her annoying SHE IS A VICTIM TRYING TO SURVIVE IN A WORLD CONTROLLED BY THE MAN SHE NEEDS TO GET AWAY FROM OR ITLL LITERALLY KILL HER!!
