It's Godmother (Godseeker)!

Lore: The Godseekers never went inside of the Godhome dream, and instead their civilization remained physical. They travel around to attune to gods of different lands via ritual combat, and this helps their community thrive. They haven't had as much success as they'd like, but they believe they've found the greatest of all gods in Hallownest: the Radiance. Godmother is the leader for this ritual because she bears the mask used for it.

So instead of a ritual to pass down the Nightmare Heart, it's a ritual to attune to a god. It causes Godmother to go through a metamorphosis. So she goes into a cocoon, and you dreamnail her to fight the Radiance and complete the ritual.

Godmother initially thinks the vessel is disturbing the ritual, but they end up allowing it to participate by giving them the Dawnchild charm. Dawnchild is a creation of the Radiance, something like her child. The Vessel makes it (and by extension, the Radiance) stronger by collecting essence.

(Its horns grow longer and it gets fluffier as it progresses)

The Seer, who is likely not the last of the moths since the Nightmare Heart has no reason to target them specifically, could maybe give you the option to banish the Godseekers.

Finished my Dyle the tank engine variant, I'm not too happy with the colors and some design aspect but I can't be bothered to change them right now.

It's only natural for a warrior to admire the power of their peers
