Unofficial Dropout 24/7 Live Chat
Hello, I made a small site to function as an unofficial chat for the livestream. it's intentionally bare-bones, no persistent usernames, no DMs, no channels, just a chat room. We're posting like it's 1999 baybeeeee Site here: https://unofficiald247chat.online/
“Every Pokemon is someone’s favourite” I’m making a spreadsheet to see if this is true. Reblog with your favourite Pokemon in the tags.
Here’s the spreadsheet in-progress
Ok, mother of GOD that's a lot of responses and I am but one man with Excel. I'll update these ASAP but also some rules:
A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.
A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.
I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.
Yes, I absolutely do accept Must the frog.
Pokemon but I gave them IRL common names
being online is so scary aren't you guys worried about the world wide spider
lookalikes
There was a poor soaking wet crow sitting in the rain, I had to draw him. Looked like the world's most dejected rectangle 😅💚
Monster girl October tarot day 27: The Simorgh from Conference of the Birds as the King of Wands!
The Simurgh/Simorgh appears in a lot of Persian literature, most often being portrayed as a kind of dog-bird hybrid or as similar to a phoenix. She will raise heroes or offer her feathers as a way for protagonists to request her aid in some of these stories. However, I liked the portrayal in Conference of the Birds where a group of birds (each representing a human weakness) decide the legendary, wise Simorg will be their king and travel far to reach her. However when the 30 birds remaining on the quest make it to the spot the Simurgh is said to be, all they find is a lake where their own reflection is shown back to them (there's a pun here too! Directly translated, Si= 30, murgh= birds). The king of wands is a card that suggests leadership, inspiration, and the ability to manifest your goals!

wiktionary lists "isolation" as the antonym of "context," I don't know if this is linguistically true. I suppose "in isolation" is the opposite of "in context" but it doesn't transfer to their noun forms . "context" is not listed as an antonym of "isolation." it's not worth starting a talk page about
in isolation isolation isn't an antonym of context but in the context of in context vs in isolation it can be

“The conventional wisdom of the Tower of Babel story is that the collapse was a misfortune. That it was the distraction, or the weight of many languages that precipitated the tower’s failed architecture. That one monolithic language would have expedited the building and heaven would have been reached. Whose heaven, she wonders? And what kind? Perhaps the achievement of Paradise was premature, a little hasty if no one could take the time to understand other languages, other views, other narratives period. Had they, the heaven they imagined might have been found at their feet. Complicated, demanding, yes, but a view of heaven as life; not heaven as post-life.”
