Fun fact: Vincent Van Gogh’s famous art style was the direct result of Van Gogh being obsessed with Japan (especially tea ceremony), Japanese art, and Japanese culture. Vincent wanted to replicate the look of Japanese woodcuts with his paintings. He’s one of the earliest tourists to Japan. Vincent Van Gogh is probably the first historically recorded weeb. If he were alive today, he’d draw anime-style art and be deranged on Tumblr.
