Anyone else feel some type of way about thunderstorms? I wouldn't say they directly turn me on, but since thunder often sounds like something that could come from a stomach, it makes my neurons fire somewhere in that ballpark

It absolutely delights me when writers ascribe emotions/intentions to burps:

-A string of helpless burps came spilling out of them.

-They punctuated the end of their meal with a satisfied burp.

-"It's okay, you don't need to hold it in." / At their friend's prompting, they let out a reluctant burp.

-With a miserable burp, they clutched at their aching belly.

-"You think you can finish everything?" / Eyeing the amount of food left, they responded with an apprehensive burp.

-A relieved burp came bursting out of them the moment they pulled the bottle back from their lips.

And those are just the basic ones. If you want to get creative why not resentful, composed, grateful, indifferent, contrite, blissful, exasperated, panicked, regretful, serene? I've also seen the phrase "eloquent belch," which I suppose is more of an ironic mischaracterization, but like, that's hot too.

I decided it would be cool to chug a liter if milk inside my already stuffed and bloated gut. This was very painful. My stomach is ripping apart. It is about to explode.
