Not an Elden Ring Post. Just a normal journal post.
I went to the local Pride with my family and there was a parade! It was awesome and I wore clothes that were technically out of my comfort zone but my wife encouraged me to wear what made me happy.
It did spark joy. I wore a corset over my top and fishnets. I did my makeup also!
It was truly lovely. I got compliments.
I will be riding this high so so so so so so long.
Uuuuuuuuuuugh. Taking off the outfit felt like a crime.
My Elden Ring Journey

You ever get so focused on trying to get stuff done that you forget to journal? WELL, I have been busy let me tell ya.
I don't even know where to start tbh.
I ran around a bunch finding all sorts of NPCs met Millicent for the first time convinced her to shove a needle into herself (which was apparently a good thing), then while exploring i fought a bunch of bosses that ranged from a guy in armor to some fucked up thing. I finally went back to check on the round table
Rogier was dead and then I went to cuddle with Fia and she was standing over Deez and disappeared before giving me so much a squeeze. Oh, yeah Deez was dead. In a note Rogier left me (along with his clothes) he left me know he had found Deez's brother in the underground so now I went to find Deez's Brother... Who turned out to also be named D. . . So I gave Brother Deez his brothers armor and then we fought against some gargoyle twins. I was tired afterwards so I took a nap in a convenient coffin that was near by... I did not wake up in the same place. After wondering around and looting I found champions of fia! AND FUCKING ROGIER WAS THERE. After trial and error (and realizing my weapons hadn't been upgraded in about a week) i won and could give Fia a piece of my mind which of course means getting my cuddle.
I made it to the city which is quite hostile, I don't even think they have a proper tourist department. After being lost and killing random knights (this will be important later) I found Godfrey but as like a golden ghosty? Anyway after I killed him I made it to Morrgot and he went down pretty easy as well. I stopped for a photoshoot because the light was nice.
Anyway the tree said fuck you and now I guess I am gonna burn it down?

Look I'm still heart broken over Sellen so I did a lot of sight seeing and have considered taking up Sorcery in her honor. . .
-ahem- ANYWAY, I got killed but a weird iron maiden lookin' ass and not I am in the volcano manor basement which really lives up to the name with the decor lemme just say.

I finally did it!! I beat Radhan (and his tiny horse)! I may have "cheesed" I literally summoned the available people (fuck you too Patches, it's on sight) and while they distracted him I waited for a window to breath my garlic breath on him.
Cheating? ... eh, I think Radhan would have appreciated the strategy.
I am getting worried about Alexander he is stuffing bodies into himself apparently?
A star fell and Wolfy wants to go see it, but before I did that I wanted to see if Sellen had any new spells (which apparently is not how this works at all I am now being told) and she wants me pull her soul crystal out of her body!? with my barehands?
I haven't dated in a while, so like ... what base is this?
Anyway! With my dear teacher in my pocket I head to the new hole in the ground and Wolfy is chasing someone else apparently?
With a not so subtle hint from a friend I took a trip to Ranni's rest and find a hidden puppet room! And an identical Sellen puppet body ... NEXT TO A BED!? WHAT A FUCKING PERV. . . Maybe I read too much into it?

Fuck man, I busted through the doors of Raya Lucaria Academy fought a Wolf with a sword that glitched into a wall and then beat up a grieving woman, which did make me feel guilty. I am so glad I didn't kill her.
The dragon build is so fun! Rough at first as I split my stats after rebirth, but it was worth it eventually I three shot one of the evergoal bosses with dragonclaw ... which was WILD. I must have been over leveled, but it was funny all the same.
After getting the new build and then doing the "secret path" to the top I got my Magma Wyrm's Scalesword which I realized ALSO scales (hehe) to Faith.
A picture right before I get rolled by Radhan and his tiny ass horse apparently name Leonard.

I have shelved Bloodborne for now, ... not because I am done with it but because I received Elden Ring for my birthday.

Ugh. It is gorg and there are so many weapons!! It is a good thing someone was like don't worry you can respec (unlike bloodborne) because I have been going CRAZY.
I got bodied by Margot the Noob Stomper (as some I know have called him) but with some luck and a jellyfish spirit named Aurelia I got passed him! I fully expected Godrick the Grafthole to body me the same way but I folded him like a fucking chair. I was using two greatswords (claymore and lordsword) with an even mix of dex, str, vig, and endurance.
I did more exploring and I found a FUCKING DRAGON CHURCH! ... I started to doubt my build just by finding that church. . . TBH I could have easily pivoted but I gritted my teeth and kept my build ... then I fought the lake dragon (what felt like a couple hundred times but was actually less than 15) I got a dragon heart and the urge built up again.
Anyway I basically finished up limgrave and moved on to Hogwarts on the Lake! Which the main boss here was also not ready for me apparently but after hearing about her divorce I was kinda on her side and then for the price of a weird kidney (not mine) I made the switch to DRAGON!! i thought it would be great, but i was so early still that I split my stats too much and made the game 10 times harder for myself, and yet I persisted. (I had a rapier phase in photo)
It was rough.
It got easier as I got more levels, but I had to put in the work for those boss fights.
I died so much, and I was scared the build was jank and not going to work (I am not looking at builds I am flying blind)

It's really funny how I was struggling with choosing a name. I went through name after name picking names I liked from fiction (and one from history) with almost none of them having any staying power. (Mori stayed for the longest)
BUT THEN...
I went to a Ball that was Fae themed. It was wonderful. ANYWAY... There was a market before the ball proper and one of the stalls had a silly little "Your Fae Name" chart and I did it.
Y'all. . . I have never in all my life felt the way I did when I read out my Fae name ... but here is the rub.
I cannot for the life of me remember a singular letter from the name and I know, I know how could I forget?

A, Lunith
Or
B, Lumith
So I as I cannot recall I have decided eh, fuck it I'm going with Lunith.
(Also yes, I know I fucking fell for a fae trap and now they Bloody know my true name but like I guess I owe them because it filled a void every other name failed to completely fill.)
I may have a slight obsession that I haven't really posted about. I love tea. I have yet to find a kind a don't like, but I specifically love herbal teas.
ANYWAY! I started working on silly things that I could turn into stickers for myself.
Basically just replacing -ty with -tea.
It is silly how much I love the way it came out especially how uneven the hand lettering is.

Okay. So I have been thinking about this one for a bit... and it is probably recency bias but I blindly went into Doki Doki Literature Club, which didn't seem like my kind of game but I promised someone I'd try it.
I... did not see ... any of that coming. It hit me like a freight train.

Oof. This last weekend was ROUUUUUUGH. It wasn't that the days were bad in themselves because I quite enjoyed the egg hunt on Undead Day of Visibility or as mortals call it "Easter."

This whole album was truly the best shit for setting the appropriate mood! Like sure I might have gone for something lighter but like... *gestures wildly at the contents of the book* I felt it was pretty spot on for the mood.

I got some things right and others wrong.
One of my hunches was correct with a some fiddly bits that truly of well I couldn't have predicted that. (If you've read it you probably know what I am talking about)
One of the predictions was right, but I didn't go NEARLY far enough down the thought process and whew did it smack me like a train. It was an amazing scene.

... it was a fun book! Did everything work for me, no, but like as a person with ADHD finishing a book feels like the greatest compliment I can give an author. Most books I open and then set them down to never again think about them. . . Apparently, I couldn't get Gideon the Ninth out of my mind.
I guess I should try to read the next book, but first I think I need drink.
I got distracted from bloodborne in a way that is very me ... I picked up a book I started 3? Years ago and now I am devouring it.

I am on chapter 20 and ... whew it is fun and really scratches the itch for necromancy and I think The One Reborn shows up at one point ... not actually but that was all I could think of during that part.

Sometimes it isn't a story idea that strikes just a fragment of a fragment. My eyes peering briefly into the world I long to build, or maybe the world I've already written in the future.
I realize now that I may have fucked up my stats so I'm going to grind a bit to get some levels ... but I am very indecisive
