Where He Tian is an omega who always get’s mistaken for an alpha and Mo Guan Shan is an alpha who always get’s mistaken for an omega (very pretty, complete “mama” skills) and they meet and are instantly attracted to one another. But initially the entire time they’re dating (pre-intimacy) they’re trying to fill their “roles” of what one another thinks they are because they’re so worried the other will leave them if they know their true gender(?).
Shenanigans ensue, mild angst (they gotta get real introspective), and they finally end up telling one another only to find out the truth that there’s really no rulebook on how you look and how you act based on your gender(?) and they’re just so much more in love with each other for having gone through the same thing with society and past partners and finally able to be themselves.

- He Tian has a fanbase of omegas that follow him around trying to “woo” him. (which is basically current canon)
- Both wear scent patches but Mo Guan Shan smells like baking cinnamon rolls with a hint of citrus while He Tian smells like smoke/black tea so regardless people think their omega, alpha.
- Mo guan shan is pretty but in a sharp, almost abrasive way so when they’re finally together and their scent mixes it’s just this badass looking couple that smells like chai (home remedies: for some reason boiling cinnamon cancels out the smell of smoke)(**chai is associated with comfort, relaxation)
- People are convinced that Mo Guan Shan is an omega when he’s older not necessarily based on his body and how he sounds (his voice is strong and rough) but by the fact that he owns a hole in the wall family restaurant and often goes out of the kitchen to check on how the diners are, chatting with the families and making sure everyone is happy, healthy, and full. + his food is pure love
- ^ people also see how he acts with Mama Mo and how caring, soft and tender he is towards her.
Older Mo: pretTY, slim thick (from heavy lifting in the kitchen/on his feet all the time, what are you thinking naughty yous), taller but not ALPHA tall, with scars on his fingers
- He Tian is actually very touch starved and seeks comfort from others (again not far from current canon)
- He Tian has been in relationships before but it’s always been “Take care of me” from his partners, where as Mo has such a caring nature regardless of who and what gender
- They actually met when a drunk He Tian stumbled into Mo’s restaurant when closing and Mo took care of him and fed him to sober him up rather than kicking him out immediately.
Momo: “I’m only doing this because your chicken butt could fall down in the street and die or get robbed and I don’t have the time to be an accomplice to murder.”
- He Tian was actually in a bad way because his last relationship ended. Random oc: “You’re not what I thought you were/I thought you would be different” (whatever hurts most)
- The first thing he Tian truly remembers is how comforted he felt held by Mo and how it felt to rest his head on the crook of Mo’s neck. (he fell and Mo had to catch him)

Yep. Haha I couldn’t get the idea out of my head and needed to manifest it somehow :p Ignore how Zhan Xi Xi and Jian Yi are gone but that would be a whole other story though it’s basically a “right in front of my sandwich” moment for them the entire time. Hopefully I used the term gender correctly, I’m not to familiar with ABO omegaverse just the basics, so forgive me senpais and maybe I’ll add on for myself, if new thoughts pop up hehe, I’m basically using this as my thought journal, gotta make some empty space up there somehow.
