ALRIGHT let's do this! (PS this is all based on in-fic characterizations, not necessarily real life)

M/F OTP: mmmmm alright, so as much as I like shipping Nate with like... everyone... and as much as I don't think their relationship is perfect... I do think that Nate and Rachel have the most natural push and pull.  I mean, I created them, I can tell you that they were definitely made for each other, and their personalities were built around complementing each other.

M/M OTP: aaaaAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaandrew and nate andrew and nate nate and andrew it is a fact bECAUSE nate would be totally into andrew just for being so freaking attractive in general like he'd feel inadequate at first but as soon as the idea got into his head he'd realize how attracted he is to andrew and ANDREW cares about nate so much already jfc and he doesn't feel like he can say anything for fear of coming across as if he's impeding into nate's space but given the opportunity he'd be pretty damn good at making Nate feel loved.

F/F OTP:  IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION HOLY CRAP wait no seriously how many girls are there in this universe? rachel... emily... ?? scarlett, lydia, ruth, maggie, jill???  and I think that's it.  I mean Hallie and the cousin Kayla I guess but they don't really count.  And all of Jack's other girlfriends, too.  But seriously let's look at this - I'm choosing a sexy F/F pairing who I think will actually be emotionally in touch with each other and support each other and be kind and also just be great and awesome and sweet and intelligent and artsy?? RACHEL AND EMILY holy crap.  Have you guys gone over to the 100fundicks blog and seen the Rachel/Emily/Nate stuff because then you'll see what I mean.

Favorite Canon: my... favorite? Remember that time in chapter 9 when Andrew and Jack just ate ice cream and talked about Nate?  That's my favorite, I think, because it's them being so chill and just hanging out, expressing their concern about their friend but the concern isn't all consuming, joking around about life and popular culture, keeping things light, and essentially getting each other, even though they can't quite understand Nate.  Andrew and Jack bonding is my favorite.

Guilty Pleasure: MMMMM well okay maybe my OT3 is my guilty pleasure... or maybe the second person plus nattie and nate is the guilty pleasure... or... RUESSLINSON yes that fits the bill.

Pairing I Hate: .... I have no idea.  I mean... I don't like ships in which Nate is the stereotypical "boyfriend trope". whatever that is.  So when people write self-insert fic, that's what always ends up being the dealbreaker (and not the mere fact that it's self-insert).  But the pairing I really don't like is Nattie and Noon.  I mean, GOD they're great.  But they're my favorite brotp, and I don't like them being shipped as sexual - that's a turn-off.  

You guys got any other things you want me to talk about? because wowee I've been listening to twenty one pilots lately and holy crap...

I'm sad to say that I think we've seen the end of the long fun fic I really miss it :(

I mean... I am working on it.  A lot of other stuff has gotten in the way, and this particular chapter isn't all that fun to write (it'll be good to read, though.)

But hey; I'm 90% sure I have a snow day home tomorrow, so maybe I can get it done.  There's more than half of it done at the moment, so...

But yeah, it's been a ridiculously long break and I'm sorry about that ~

I picked up “The Hunger Games” thinking it was written at my regressed reading level. I’ve spent hours reading it, and I’m not even halfway through. Our bass player, whose name is also Nate, ended up reading all three novels and loved them. He was really underwhelmed by the movie. He was upset that they focused more on the killing than the government control, political aspect of it. What’s most appealing to me about the book is that I’m not going to finish it.
