At the moment, no. I haven’t been active a looooooooong time. Being a senior in college and doing thesis solo was harder than I thought. All the previous requests are still safe in my inbox and I’m still trying my best to write all of them. It’s just that, I haven’t written anything worth posting in almost a year. There’s going to be one day, years from now, where we look back at Twitter, and the last post from @bts_twt will be from years ago. We’ll go to YouTube, and the last bangtan bomb was posted years ago. All the fan sites will be long closed. Fan accounts slowly dwindle away and we no longer hear about what they’re up to everyday. Their fan cafe, long abandoned. Their Facebook page, the last photo dates back years ago. Their last album, not forgotten about, but spoken about as a ‘classic’. Nothing new from the present, just simple memories of the past. We’re no longer updated everyday. We don’t know where they went, who they’ve turned out to be, if they still speak to each other anymore. Did they keep in touch? Of course they remember the fans, but they’re just a memory. A part of them growing up to become what they will be. The last note of the last song on the last BTS album, it’s going to happen one day.

Sadly, we live on the opposite sides of the world and can’t hang out together irl even though we’d really want to. Meeting eachother is something we both really really want to do but the trip would be crazily expensive and neither of us has the kind of money to afford it. As a solution we decided to make a GoFundMe page and film a video explaining our situation. There’s going to be one day, years from now, where we look back at Twitter, and the last post from @bts_twt will be from years ago. We’ll go to YouTube, and the last bangtan bomb was posted years ago. All the fan sites will be long closed. Fan accounts slowly dwindle away and we no longer hear about what they’re up to everyday. Their fan cafe, long abandoned. Their Facebook page, the last photo dates back years ago. Their last album, not forgotten about, but spoken about as a ‘classic’. Nothing new from the present, just simple memories of the past. We’re no longer updated everyday. We don’t know where they went, who they’ve turned out to be, if they still speak to each other anymore. Did they keep in touch? Of course they remember the fans, but they’re just a memory. A part of them growing up to become what they will be. The last note of the last song on the last BTS album, it’s going to happen one day.

Right now, I might do random posts because my thesis just took a turn for the worse. And yes, while I’m working on my thesis, I’ve also been thinking about the requests.

This is somewhat a sequel to Goodbye, Beautiful. I hope you guys would like it.

People say when you love someone; you have to let them go. And that was what Taehyung did.

Whenever he found the time, Taehyung would always go to the specific café in town; although, he never went there for the coffee or for its world-famed sweets. The only reason he would even step foot on that place was because in the whole of Seoul, it was the one place he was able to see you.

Taehyung would sit in his usual booth for hours on end, hoping that in those hours, he’d get the chance to see even a glimpse of you.

In that very spot, Taehyung watched you as you met with other people, saw you hang out with your friends and do your work. Knowing what’s going on in your life, it somehow made him feel like he was still part o f it.

Almost three years passed since you broke up with Taehyung and despite that long time, he continued to watch you from afar in the hopes that someday the distance keeping you worlds apart would close into nothing.

Taehyung lost his way after the break up. His heart was torn into pieces and his dreams–the ones he built with you–were dashed right in front of his eyes. He even thought that there was no more point in pursuing his career. You were the reason why he was where he is in the first place. And with you gone, suddenly he lost his purpose. It wasn’t until his members knocked some sense back into him that he finally gained his composure back.

Taehyung dedicated all that was left of him to his career. All the hours of the day was poured into training, spending all day and night either in the recording studio or at the practice room. He would often come home drenched in sweat and sometimes he’d just collapsed onto his bed out of pure exhaustion, forgetting the fact that his stomach’s growling in hunger.

As Taehyung’s career–for the lack of a better term–blossomed, as did your studies. You won several contest, earned the opportunity to travel, and graduated college with flying colors.

Sometimes, Taehyung wondered if he was also holding you back.

Bangtan was just about to start working on a new album and before they do so, the company allowed the members a few days off. The others visited home and spent time with the loved ones they missed dearly. While Taehyung’s family flew out of the country for a vacation, it meant he had no one to visit. So he decided to stay behind at the dorm during their week and hoped to ease his nerves as he began to write lyrics for his contribution for the album.

It’s been three days and not once did Taehyung left the dorm. Seokjin left some food in the kitchen for him to just reheat and sometimes, fast food delivery was the better option. And he planned to spend the week just like that, hunched over his laptop a pen on one hand while the other pressed his headphone against his ear; however, a single text made him change his mind.

It’s not everyday that the golden maknae Jeon Jungkook would say please, which was why Taehyung found himself dressing up in the middle of a cloudy afternoon with a smile on his lips as he sent his reply.

To Jeon Jungkookie

You said pls! Say it again! Say it again!

Taehyung wore a navy blue long-sleeved button-down underneath a black leather jacket and dark denim pants. He snatched a snapback from the rack before heading out of the dorm.

He paused as he set foot on the street. He knew it was cloudy but he didn’t expect the clouds to be so low that it almost kissed the rooftop of the 10-storey building across the dorm. And from the looks of it, there would be rainfall within the next hour. A sigh escaped his lips as he continued to walk, putting his hands in his pockets and hoping the Jimin and Jungkook would want to go home before the first raindrop.

The park was simple; a playground stood on one side and flowers bloomed along a path that greatly resembles Oz’s yellow brick road, which would at a lovely small white wooden gazebo.

Taehyung noted how the park was practically deserted when he got there. No kids ran after each other and the swing sets sad idly as the grey skies loomed over Taehyung–who’s probably the only person in that place.

He went onto the path towards the gazebo, peering his gaze left and right every five seconds looking for his two friends, who may or may not be planning to jump on him as soon as he was in their reach. And that fact made Taehyung more aware of his surroundings.

As he neared the gazebo, Taehyung stood frozen at his track. A familiar figure sat on the bench in between him and his destination. The sight made him rethink his decision to leave the solace of the dorm and venture out in this gloomy afternoon. But as he watched the girl flip the page of the book in her hand while a smile formed on her pink lips, Taehyung started to soften.

It had been exactly 2 years, 10 months and 12 days since he last saw you this close. No walls, windows or cars–and definitely not the world–were keeping you apart. Taehyung wanted to run to you, lift you with his arms and hug you like you were his lifeline. He wanted to remember your scent or the way it felt to have you in his arms. And he almost took a step forward.

However, at the back of his head, something told him to run. Run as fast as you can and don’t look back! The voice cried and Taehyung realized that the voice must be right–the voice should be right; for at the moment he’ll touch you, he’d never let you go and he was well aware of that that himself–that selfishness he always tried to shrug off.

Taehyung took a step back, readying himself for the run of his life. He bit his lips as he turned on his heel and hoped that the mental photo he took of you was enough.

“Taehyung?” You called out before he could even lift a foot of the ground.

You voice sounded like sweet melody in his ears but the fact that you saw him made Taehyung snap back to cruel reality. He turned around and tried to muster the courage to smile–which ended in a complete disaster because it was the most awkward smile he’s ever made and he knew that himself.  "Hey y/n.“ His voice sounded coarse like his throat had gone dry the moment he heard your voice.

"What are you doing here?” You asked, throwing him a questioning look.

“Jungkook texted me and–” And then a thought dawned on him and he felt like hitting himself in the face for being such a complete and utter idiot.

For this little meeting may or may not be a set up by none other than Tweedledum and Tweedledee, aka Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook. Whether it is or it’s not, Taehyung may or may not strangle this two friends later–he hasn’t fully decided yet. Thanking them didn’t sound so bad too, but maybe after a few punches here there.

Perhaps it was God’s will–or maybe it’s a crazy coincidence–but the rain started to pour hard. You stood up in haste and ran to the gazebo, with Taehyung following your suit.

The unexpected rainfall left you drenched and shaking cold as you reached the Gazebo. While thanks to his leather jacket, Taehyung wasn’t as drenched as you were but his hair fell right on his eyes.

It was raining cats and dogs and it seemed like the downpour wouldn’t stop anytime soon.

Taehyung walked over to you and placed his jacket over your shoulders, before walking back to the other end of the gazebo. He kept his distance from you and he even wondered why.

You cleared your throat, catching Taehyung’s attention, which was starting to focus on revenge on his friends. “So how are you?” You asked in an attempt to break the most uncomfortable silence you two had ever experienced together.

“Same old, same old.” Taehyung answered with a shrug.

“That’s nice to hear.”

Without having the need to look, Taehyung knew you were smiling. He could tell by your voice. He wished to see that smile for the longest of time but now that you were standing with the smile he longed for, he didn’t have the courage to take even a glimpse of it, fearing it would send him back to where he started–feeling all alone with no direction.

“I missed you.” You muttered and Taehyung’s gaze darted to you. He stood there, eyes wide in surprise and speechless.

It took Taehyung a couple more of seconds to process what he heard. He let out a small sigh as his shoulders slumped. “I missed you too.” He said as he tried his best not to stutter, not to show you how close he was to breaking down for the distance between you and him had never been more excruciatingly painful than now. So close…yet so far. “I’m sorry.”

“Huh?”

Taehyung heaved a deep breath before letting it all out. His heart pounded against his chest and suddenly he regretted the words, which left his mouth.

This was sort of the moment he’d been waiting for–the moment to tell you what he wanted and what he should’ve told you that afternoon. “For letting you walk away that day.” He paused and heaved another sigh before continuing, “I shouldn’t have let you walk away without fighting. I never wanted to let you go. But you sounded so sure…so sure like your mind was all made up.” He chuckled sadly while averting his gaze from you, fearing the tears brimming on his eyes would fall so he blinked them away before looking back at you. “And we both know how stubborn you are.”

You tugged on Taehyung’s jacket, shivering a little. “But it did help you. Your career did become better after we broke up.”

Taehyung hugged himself, finally feeling the cold against his skin. “But still.” He sounded weak, which was a fact. He was so close to breaking down, but he couldn’t–definitely not in front of you.

“Still what?”

“It’s not the same you know. Knowing you’re not there, not watching me–”

“Whoever told you I stopped being there?” You interrupted and he looked back at you. A mischievous smile met his surprised and confused gaze.

“B-but I never saw you again. Not at the fan meets, or the concerts, or the shows–” A giggle from you made Taehyung pause from his almost monologue.

You raised your hands and kept your smile. “Hey, just because you didn’t see me, it doesn’t mean I’m not there.”

Bewilderment clouded Taehyung’s thoughts. Questions sprung up in his mind one after the other. If you were there… “Why didn’t you–”

“Why did I let you see me?” You interrupted yet again, as if you could hear or read his thoughts. “We broke up remember? And besides, I’ll just be a distraction.” You shrugged like you’ve accepted that you were nothing but a mere distraction to Kim Taehyung.

Just a distraction? Are you kidding me? Taehyung wanted to shout but he kept these words to himself. You were never a distraction as you were always his motivation.

As his eyes were stuck on you, he noticed how your mischievous smile turned into an honest one. The one he loved most. “ I still feel the same you know.”

“Huh?”

You giggled and it confused an already bewildered Taehyung further. “I still love you.”

Taehyung stood beside you frozen like a statue, unable to believe those four words that escaped your lips. He had no idea how to react, what to say, what to do. After all, those words were the last he expected from you. It felt so surreal that it made him question if what he heard were true.

And that’s the reason why Taehyung held his hand up and slapped himself. Hard.

The sound of his palm making contact with his cheek echoed in his ear that Taehyung could swear he heard a ringing. He was sure there’s a red hand mark on his right cheek but he couldn’t care less. What he did was dumb but he needed it.

“What was that for?!” You roared as you walked towards him. As soon as he was within your reach, you held his is reddening cheek and sighed.

“I had to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.” Taehyung answered as he held your hand, which held his cheek. “Did you just really tell me you still love me?”

You nodded with a faint smile.

Taehyung felt like his heart was about to burst of joy. She still loves me. And he almost relished in that moment…almost because a distant memory surfaced, a distant memory he tried to bury.

“You already have a boyfriend.” He mumbled, looking away in complete disappointment.

How could he fall for this? He knew! He saw you!

“I don’t have a boyfriend.” You sound offended by his words.

“Yes. You do.” He paused as the distant memories brought about a feeling he never wanted to experience ever again. The feeling of seeing you happy without him, the feeling of you being happy and him nothing being the reason why, the pain that he felt for being such a coward to let you walk away when all he wanted to hold you in his arms and never let you go. “I even saw you together. You were hugging.” He blurted them out like a whisper; half hoping you heard and would give him the explanation he thought he needed to hear.

“When was this?”

“I don’t know? A few months ago–I think.” Taehyung shrugged.

You scrunched your nose the way you do whenever you think. “Oh!” You pulled your phone from your purse and showed Taehyung a photo of you with a guy–the same guy who visited you in the café a few months back. “Is this the guy?”

Taehyung nodded stupidly.

With his answer, you cracked into a fit of laughter, hitting Taehyung’s chest lightly.

“What’s so funny?” He pouted both annoyance and puzzlement.

It took you at least a second to get your composure back. You wiped the tear from the corner of your eye and cleared your throat. “You’re still an idiot.”

“Hey!” Okay. Now Taehyung just felt offended.

“That’s my eonnie’s boyfriend, you big dummy!” You explained and Taehyung stared at you with an incredulous look, making you break out into laughter. His face must’ve look really priceless for you to continue to laugh at him. “Gosh! I forgot you saw me that day.”

Saw me that day? “Wait, what are you talking about? You forgot I saw you that day? What day?”

You rolled your eyes and Taehyung could feel the judgment in that small action. “Me, the café and as you said, a few months ago.”

Lightbulb.

“You knew I saw you that day?” Taehyung asked, finally remembering which day you were talking about…the same day he tried his best to forget…the day you hugged a guy who wasn’t him and looked all blissful and happy.

You nodded with a grin.

Maybe you were right. Taehyung’s an idiot for getting caught. I should be more careful next time.

“Two little birdies told me.”

“Two little birdies?” Taehyung paused to think, even the answer to his question was right there at the beginning. “Jimin and Jungkook!” He exclaimed and scowled inwardly. He should’ve known better than to trust those two.

“They even told me that someone’s been stalking me for over two years now.”

“Hey!” Taehyung shrieked and a tint of pink spread across his cheeks. “I wasn’t stalking, okay? I was merely…” He thought of the best world to fit what he did all those months. “…watching over you.”

“Whatever helps you sleep at night~” You sang teasingly.

Taehyung huffed like a little kid who just lost an argument and you laughed at the sight of him

Oh how he missed this. The two of you together where nothing else matter. It’s been almost three years but it was as if you never stopped talking, like you picked up from when you left of.

He missed everything from the scent of your favorite perfume to the feel of his hands intertwined with yours, from the way you would hug him from behind whenever he stood in front of the kitchen counter to the way you would laugh at his silly jokes and antics, from how you would humor him and play games with him just because he was bored to letting him help you with your own work.

You were his best friend as he was yours.

He loved you as you loved him.

Taehyung found himself wrapping his arms around your waist, pulling your bodies together. He rested his head on your shoulder and stayed there for quite a while, wishing that this moment could last forever.

When Taehyung finally looked up, a ray of sunshine blasted his eyes and he thought he was going to go blind. You hit his hands as he tried to rub his eyes.

“The rain stopped.” You said as you pulled away from him, taking a step down the gazebo.

You held out your hand to him and Taehyung gladly intertwined his fingers with yours. Nothing fit more perfectly.

You two look at each other and smiled. He gave you hand a light squeeze before leaning towards you.

“I love you too.” Taehyung whispered into your ear before planting a sweet kiss on your soft cheek.

Unknown to you and Taehyung, two specific birds lurked behind some bushes, watching as things unfold. Jimin and Jungkook were more drenched that you and Taehyung were, as they stayed in that same spot the moment Jungkook sent that text message.

However, even thought they were shivering cold, Jimin and Jungkook couldn’t feel any happier as they were finally able to help their dear friend–although at the back of their head, they knew Taehyung’s going to kill them for setting this whole thing up.

“Finally!” Jungkook sighed with a smile as he leaned back on the tree behind him.

“Now let’s make a run for it before they catch us.” Jimin said, springing up to his feet.

Random update! I’ve been editing this for month and finally got around it tonight. This was one of my first scenarios. Tell me what you guys think! I’d love to hear some feedback from you.
