Larry Kilman, Director of Communications, World Association of Newspapers, wrote his insight regarding how the government responds to the different content created by the press and newspapers. How effective are traditional media platforms at disseminating information to the public affected? This article focuses on the benefits of newspapers to the general public as well as their effectiveness today as we innovate on this platform. Aside from print, we can read through social media, which we can access at any time through the use of gadgets and the internet. If we connect with Larry Kilman  state about the effectiveness of newspapers, this situation here in the Philippines, which is now preparing for national election people are gathering information from social media and television ,Radio ,New papers which they provide information to the public to  those candidate running  to different position they use press and multimedia platform to discuss their PLATAPORMA .But in other hand other media critics the candidate who run for this coming election. In my own insight , YES  media sometimes I can notice that they are  critics to the government but if we think the purpose is to help the people decide and choose those politician who really care the people .Aside of that media discuss the plan of politician for the country like what i learn from my discussion media also teach to the public and giving learning to the people who have no idea about what happening in our society and for  this coming election 2022.

PRINCIPLES OF ACTION

A journalist shall always draw a clear and unmistakable distinction between the facts which he/she tells and what may be opinions, interpretations or surmises, although, in his/her professional activities he/she is not obliged to be neutral

A journalist is not required  to be neutral. They always public opinion. aiming to help the public for the betterment of society. but how effective is this principle nowadays.

I choose this principle because it is easy to situate this principle here in the Philippines. A journalism naturally stands against wrongdoing, having a critical adversarial nature that puts reporters in a position to speak truth to power when needed.

The  rule of journalism is to be the voice of the voiceless. In the  mainstream media, journalists will encounter critics from the government and public because of the bias in the content of their news. That is why, nowadays people do not completely trust journalists. The government decided to shutdown, aside from not paying their taxes and accusing them of bias, because of what they show to the public and the fact that someone is manipulating them.as happened on one of the network here in the Philippines. YES , as a public observer of what is happening here in our country. yes . journalist favor and the voice of the public, they perform well ,but there are some journalist who focus on attacking the person of government official without any thought as to whether this is helpful for them. they are the ones putting themselves in the critical situation.

LISTENING FOR A CHANGE

Deborah Kasente, of Makerere University's women's studies department, She faced exactly this frustration when she conducted research into the impact of the Uganda Women's Tree-Planting Movement, The movement was founded by a group of women. It was mostly middle-class, educated women, and was backed by the government. It was under intense international pressure to demonstrate its dedication to natural resource conservation. The movement's overarching motivation, then, was to raise public awareness of, first, the links between overpopulation, energy and food crises, and mismanagement;

Deborah Kasente discusses this study about certain issues in a community where there are different reactions from the public or the people in the community. Some of them have good feedback, some of them criticize the project. The people in the community believe this project was conducted by the Uganda women's tree planting movement. They do this for their own benefit and for business purposes. People always react to and believe in different issues or activities without validating them.

For example, in today's situation during a pandemic, many medical frontliners go to different communities to conduct vaccinations, but why are some people afraid of the vaccine? Because even though the DOH disseminates information to the public and also on social media platforms, there are some areas, far from the cities, where people can't access the information they need to know about the benefits of vaccines. As a result, the LGU should send personnel to conduct a program in which LGU personnel and residents of that community discuss with the LGU the program and the importance of this. People react to any program by opening up their opinions using their voices when they do not know the objective of this movement, the purpose of this program, or the information needed by the people.

As an individual, we have the right to freely express our opinion using our voice. We can use our voice to say what we want, but don't forget to consider many factors. Listen to and ask for information from a reliable source. Some people, especially nowadays, express their feelings without listening to the opinions of others. Because of the misled information, it can mostly cause miscommunication.

Habermas, Democracy, and the Public Sphere: Theory and Practice" demonstrates how Habermas' work in various scientific domains contributes to the construction of the "project of modernity" from the various perspectives that such a complex undertaking necessitates. The public sphere, according to Habermas' thesis, is the societal realm where communicative exchanges have a chance to bring reason to bear on human societies and lead them down the path to social and political emancipation. As a result, the articles in this special issue are centered on the public sphere, demonstrating its evolution in Habermas' work as well as its relationship to democracy on both the national and international levels.

        Habermas discusses democracy and the public sphere. When we connect our current situation in the twentieth century with technological innovation,  Using the internet, we can easily access information from media platforms. However, not all information in the media is correct; some of it is incorrect. As a result, before we trust information from social media, we must first ensure that it comes from a trustworthy source. Habermas also discusses deliberative theory, which aims to provide each group with a voice through a representative who can assist each individual in opening up their own side. However, when we look at the current state of deliberative democracy, we can see that the majority of those running for political office are not members of a party. As an example, of  a famer group” If a representative of a farmer group is not a farmer, how can they discuss or open up about the needs of a specific group if they do not belong to or have experience with that type of work? This is why some people criticize certain representatives.

       We are thankful for our country's democracy, which allows us to express ourselves freely. However, despite this privilege, our country continues to face various problems because some people use this privilege to criticize others and make false statements that can destroy other people's character.

Each of us has the ability to choose whether or not we believe we have the freedom to make a decision that will benefit you and everyone else in this country. We must assist those people, particularly those who are knowledgeable about our country's current situation or problems. We must provide them with adequate information and empower them to express their feelings and opinions to the government.
