It was all worth it tho; it was a surprise commission gift for one the owners, and its 2 pups i used to take care of a lot. They have a special place in my heart and it brought me a lot of joy to paint their cute little faces :^]

#commission work #acrylic #pet portraits #this was my first acrylic piece ive done since highschool #and my first time painting at all in 8 years #i wanted to do some empasto accents at the end but by the time i got somewhere i was happy with #i was too fuckin scared to touch it anymore lmaoo 😭😭#i still wish id put some blue in that hat. it look pretty off as it stands..#other things i wouldve liked to have improved: color of the jacket. far right ear is too far to the right #i wanted to make the umbrella more transparent as if the glow from behind were seeping through more #wouldve liked to really make the skirts.. work? better?#also i forgot that id wanted to give daxter (dog on left) the halo glow #because the dog on rights name is luna and already has the moon crest on her chest there #also. i was misinformed- that luna had died when in fact dax had. which wouldve made the halo on dax make way WAY more sense #shit happens oh well #love these fuckin puppies tho #myart #1aceinspace #i did get to do some gold ink accents which was fun :^]#my signature prob shouldve been bigger and farther to the right XP
