Taliyah | 25 | She/Her ✫ Twitter ✫ YouTube ✫ Twitch ✫ Discord Hey everyone! Tali / 1StupidRat here creating this page in the off chance that other media platforms crumble and completely die off. I'm a TTRPG Artist, improv actor, part-time twitch streamer and game designer primarily known for my work on Sequence Break #Learned Mortality and #StarRoadNow!! I'll be posting my artwork here as well as custom TTRPG modules that I create (*and maybe more but I have yet to get to that lmao)
The most recent episode of LM was chock full of artwork, and I'm here to share it with you! Make sure to watch the episode first though.
For a new ally, the Good Doctor sure doesn't show good faith... Sending the party directly to the South Pole as his first action. That being said, he shares his ability with Milli through a data transfer, despite it being a bit soured by the tricks.
In the South Pole Ice Core Labs, the party meets Oblivious... who is not at all what they expected.
Alongside the lord regent, she has a trustworthy cast of "friends", showing where the frostbitten came from. They're all her plush creations, twisted by the hand that binds her.
Here are two cameo appearances, Meephen's Hank, and Parker's John Lennon. Both of which have been fun in-jokes for a while, glad to finally show the way I was able to integrate them into this otherwise quite serious game ^-^
Oblivious's friends, a bunch of plushies that she created for the devil to make "perfect" forms to house the frostbitten. All of them were rejected.
And the polar night is upon us... the last arc of Learned Mortality begins. Hope you're all ready.
Thanks for watching, and I hope you're ready... the next episodes escalate to an immense degree.
Spoilers ahead for the artwork that appeared in these episodes of Learned Mortality; please watch them first before you read this post!
Learned Mortality has been really heating up as of late so you should really check these episodes out, they're some of my best work ^-^
Starting with episode 17, we saw the retrieval (or rather, discovery) of the care package requested in the early game, crashed into the Marine Lab.
The only new artwork in this episode is the red form of the Jellyfish frostbitten, as seen below.
These frostbitten are found leeching from electrical wires and machinery, their polyps containing a threateningly high level of stored energy. To quote the party; they suck.
Next up we have Night 10's artwork. The good doctor has come to negotiate, and the party engages in a tense but very revealing conversation. To ensure things go well, a new frostbitten appears alongside the good doctor.
This being, warped in coral and holding a bright white flag, appeared by the Doctor's side in the encounter. Nothing else is currently known about it.
Despite the Doctor's cease-fire, Elessar and Val found their way into the Garden of Chains, the Good Doctor's base of operations. Within the large chamber, they found two new sights... a massive frostbitten and the real form of the doctor himself.
Hundreds of rejected forms of the Good Doctor, either broken beyond repair or currently regenerating, all forced into infinite life by the Millenium AI. The Good Doctor has gathered them here in one place in the Garden of Chains.
Next up, day 11, the party goes to the 25th hour to get Bolt's opinion on the situation.
Since Bolt was never supposed to be a visual aspect of the campaign, I never finished his design. This update visually defines him a place in the world and fully realizes how his personality ties into his design. I'm quite happy with it.
And after another Duncan rolls a 1 moment, we rush right into the Mad as Hell ACT 3 encounter. Here are all of the artworks that showed up at the end of episode 19 and during episode 20.
Mad as Hell ACT 3, earth and lightning, the miasma of static electricity, and the one controlling the giant class to act out as a rogue frostbitten.
The hands were confirmed to be part of the giant, now known to be [In the Year 2525].
In its head stands a projector equipped with tragedy from all over time. One of those tragedies stays close.
Professor Black Ice, or "the virus", is a self replicating computer virus from the future. For some reason, it is attempting to look just like Milli...
And finally the party encountered the mental forms of the Good Doctor within the 25th hour. What appears to be Camilia's original personality, and a much more serious and humorless Bliss.
And finally some concept art.
Thanks for reading the post, hope you all enjoy the rest of Learned Mortality, see y'all in the next one ^-^
Learned Mortality [Night 8] Ep 16 | ARTWORK THREAD!!!
Hey y'all its time! I'm back and only 15% dying from Covid so that means you all can get some neat art!! Heavy spoilers ahead for the recent episode of Learned Mortality, read at your own caution.
For starters, lets take a look at the biggest reveal in the episode - likely the biggest reveal in the entire series if we're talking just based on size. Here's the silhouette of the fifth class of Frostbitten, labeled currently as the Frost Giant:
I adore this thing, I've been waiting for an expedition south to encounter this monstrosity. Its eye scans over the area, all caught in it triggering a deadly villainous action which drained an entire day away from the party this episode. They'll have to be extremely careful in how they maneuver around it from here on out.
That being said; Duncan rolled a 1. I'm sure he's got the best luck in the world. Mad as Hell ACT 2 spawned in, and charged right for mass destruction.
Also some minor updates to stuff; we've got the convoy! Now with a coat of paint that makes it look less like I stapled shipping crates to a tank and stretched it in MS Paint...
What the goop doin'?
Head time
And that's all that appeared in this ep!
Thanks for stayin' tuned to Learned Mortality updates, this game means the world to me ^-^
Hey folks! I missed last ep of LM's artwork, but there wasn't really much in that ep- either way I'm posting two art sections in one today!
Spoilers ahead, of course. Don't click below the line if you haven't watched yet ^-^
First off, Bolt Watsky-
A character I drew for the sole purpose of knowing what he looked like, and nothing more. Duncan brought him directly into the plot of this game and I couldn't be happier. His design was never one of my favorites, so expect an update if he shows up again ^-^
I was getting tired of the shitty roll20 buggy asset, so I made one myself!
And a Milli redraw! She's so dorky in this outfit I love her so much.
There were also a few animated eyecatches that showed up for Goose and Tricky- here are those.
Thanks for looking at my art and enjoying LM so far, it means a lot to me ^_^
Learned Mortality | Day 7 / Ep 13 | Artwork Thread
Hey everyone! Another episode of Learned Mortality came out today; and that means more artwork!
If you have yet to see the episode, please watch it here on YouTube first - spoilers abound the post ahead.
First and foremost, the party ventured into the Eso-Tiller shuttle loop and came across a type of frostbitten previously unseen. These jellyfish seem to function as an alarm system to notify the Frostbitten of trespassers in the area.
And when the alarm is tripped, a respondent is soon to follow... I would like to introduce everyone to Mad as Hell.
Wouldn't be Learned Mortality without a nerve wracking situation in a dangerous environment, and Mad as Hell is my favorite example of that. It could have showed up anywhere at the roll of a d100, but the tunnels gave me a wonderful array of things to do with its pressure ability.
That's all for ep 13, thanks for checkin' out Learned Mortality!
Heavy spoilers ahead! If you have yet to watch Episode 12 of Learned Mortality, watch it here! LM is a survival Horror Game set in my JoJo TTRPG universe!
First thing's first, a massive hand which came out of one of the warp emperors. Its origins are unknown, but its design makes the party refer to it as Oblivious.
The War Machine, part of the Good Doctor's raid on Eso-Tiller. It produced the means to destroy the protective walls around the base. This Frostbitten is based on the Bliss n Eso song [Tell the World That I'm Comin']
Murphy's stand, referred to as "Sent".
It seems his stand involves self torture, how lucky for him!
And finally, the eyecatches which appeared in this episode.
And Larry's ACT 3!
Technically, mr general warcrimes didn't get finished this ep, but I'm posting him now anyways.
That's the artwork from this episode!
Crazy that its only gonna get more intense from here on out, huh?
Thanks for watching / reading everyone! LM is very near and dear to my heart and I'm so glad the positive reception it's getting.
The following is a thread of additional concept art that I couldn't share in the last thread because of the posting limit. Read ahead only if you've seen Day 6 of Learned Mortality. Spoilers head, obv.
So, following the encounter in ep 6, we have a multitude of early designs for Milli that have yet to be shared. Particularly for her robotic vessel, here are some early sketches. I wanted to keep her design impersonal and cold, so i scrapped this first one that looks more like a robotic shell of the illusion she puts up.
This artwork also was drawn but never used as it makes an incorrect connection between Milli and the Butterfly that was eventually changed inbetween drafts of the story.
Also when the game started, Eyecatches looked very different. Here's the beta eyecatch for LM.
While a fun design, it looked too complicated for my liking so I simplified it for the new design. Still fun to look back on.
Now that the reveal has happened, this original concept art hits a lot harder too. This cropped version reveals that it had text & a butterfly in it, both of which I deleted last time I shared this art. This is the full art.
This eyecatch will never be used, but if the gang dropped her stand before the reveal it wouldve played Louie Zong's [Hello, World] to the tune of this eyecatch. This is basically the same stats, minus the infinite durability being hidden.
Lastly, this is for an old version where the rejects were robots filled with flesh and not flesh monsters. They all looked like milli. I redrew this for the final because of the broken robots no longer being a plot device.
So yeah!
Lots of Milli art. When I like a character I need to get them perfect haha. Thanks for reading!
